Oh wow. This was so different than anything I've read here. The easy friendship and understanding between them is so fundamental and then the way you describe Gustav's emotions as he has to come to terms with Georg's accident is so vivid. It was really heartwrenching when Gustav realized what an injury to Georg's hands would do to his friend. I'm glad that in the end they were reconciled, though it was anything but a happy ending. Very well written; I've missed reading your stories.

I was bummed about the lack of reviews, but you just made up for it in a huge way!rnrnWhen Gustav realizes just how much injured hands would affect Georg, is the same moment I realized it, actually, and I think (hope) that added to the realism. When something hits me as I'm writing, I try to throw in in the story in the same moment, whether it fits there or not because most realization like that come out of nowhere.rnrnThank you so much for reading and commenting.
