I don't think you give yourself enough credit. You did really well for your first story, especially considering that writing from this perspective isn't the easiest. Too bad it didn't end well... but oh well you can't have everything I guess, poor Tom. Anyway, I suck at giving reviews, but I liked reading this :)

I think you did great job for your first fic here. I really like the heavy way to flow the story through emotions and little details, it makes the angst both distorded and yet very prsesent. I guess all I can say is that your style just hit the spot for me.
Sure, there were couple of mistakes, but they didn't bother me - esåecially since I'm not a native speaker either. I might not be able to relate top a high-school relationship, but the overall struggles in love are so universal and timeless.
I hope to see you writing again in a future!
