Oh, I loved the slow up build towards this. Bill finally accepting that he was going to grab it now or he would never get the chance again if Tom forgets everything when he regains his memory.
Somehow I have a feeling that Tom is getting very close to that happening soon. The question is if he remembers or not. It's very exciting if he doesn't because now Bill knows what Tom hasn't told him all these years, and it sort of leaves Bill with all the good cards on his hand... or not :)
