A twist, nice one! I don't mean nice-nice, but interesting way to turn the tables.
I think this chapter took their relationship, complexity and meaning of this moment and our past to a whole new light. At times this was almost uncomfortable, made feel afraid of whaty is yet to come and how badly will they break each other when it should be completely opposite.
It will be a rough ride, right?

Ah. The angst, the sexual tension...Bill's desire to do what's right versus his desire; Tom's confidence and determination to win over Bill...it's all the more intriguing given Tom's amnesia and how he's handling it.
My knowledge of the subject is close to nil, but it seems that Tom's accident has narrowed his focus to not only his core instincts where Bill is concerned but the subconscious desires were awakened and this he accepts completely. I can't recall if this was in effect mentioned in the story...so sorry if I'm repeating. I find it very interesting and think the possibility of Tom retaining this memory along with his acceptance is quite high given the twin's bond. Not a very scientific rationale, but I'm sticking to it. ;)

Oh, I do so love this chapter. It's a hard smack of reality, and that's awesome. Tom needs to remember so that they can set Bill's mind at ease and get back to it. =)

Either his memory will come flooding back when Bill shows him all about their history or we will find out that he was pulling Bill's leg all along. Either way Tom will still want Bill. The taboo twin thing just makes it all the more thrilling. Can't wait for the next chapter.

There were some undertones here that made me wonder for a moment if Tom had already regained his memory but decided bot to tell Bill.
I suppose he hasn't but it was thrilling *s*
Tom is the only one who doesn't seem to care if he remembers or not, and especially the consequences of this later. He lives in the now and what ever happens, whatever he remembers, he's not affected by it. He loves Bill right here and now and copes remarkably well.
Bill is torn between caring about the consequences and not. He wants to stay in the incredible love he shares with Tom right now and damned be the consequences. Still, he's plagued by society rules, that he's forcing Tom even though his twin is so far from being forced as he can be.
I look forward to what happens now, too!

Bill is in a difficult position, for once trying to protect Tom when Tom has always protected him. I hope you continue to enjoy it!

Bill is stressing me out. What Tom is TRYING to say is that the love he feels was there when nothing else was, and remembering won't change that. Bill wants to be punished for what he's "doing" to Tom. I think when Tom remembers, they'll be ok.
It looks like a rant from this little box, but I really loved this. I can't wait to read more!

I'm so intrigued! The way Bill is confused between taking what he wants and doing what's ``right`` is really brilliant, beautifully written. I love Tom so much in this, how he's confident and jealous and caring, I just love him =P I have no idea what will happen next as usual but I can't wait to find out! The conversation with their mother was also a really cool scene. I just love the way the twins interact in this story so much! Mondays are clearly not my fav day of the week but with your update to look forward to, I can't wait for the weekend to be over! lol
