Zomg, this one sent me on a roller coaster ride!
First, I was like "zomg, does Tom remember?!" and got all excited.
And then I was like "zomg, he never forgot!" and was maybe a little upset with him for lying and then not so much when I found out that he heard Bill saying he wanted Tom to forget.
Then, I was like "zomg, I can't believe Bill ran away!" because deep down, didn't he WANT Tom to remember? And couldn't he see that Tom wouldn't ever lie to him to hurt him?
And then I was like "zomg, why are they fighting?!" when they should be kissing!
And finally relief when they admitted their true feelings for each other and DID kiss.
And then a sick feeling when I realized this must mean the story's almost over and I really love this story.
LOVE LOVE LOVED this, can't wait to see what happens next love!

I never imagined that Tom really remembered what had happened between them and was pretending not to, just as Bill was pretending nothing had happened at all. You have crafted this story so beautifully and the ending of this chapter was so intensly tender. Lovely stuff.

AAAAHHHHH!!!!! Why you nervous about this chapter? Worried too many people first die of sadness and then burst out to universal love? That's me, anyways. So so perfect, I've been so emotional so many times during this, and I am just so happy in reading how well Tom knows Bill and loves him and Bill loves him back and together they can make it.

Oh, how you toyed with my emotions here! Poor Bill, trying to pretend things are normal when he doesn't want to be normal. Poor Tom, trying to do what he thinks Bill wants. When he had a moment of panic at the car, it was just so real and devastating.
I had no idea that Tom would go that far to do what Bill wanted. But, I'm so glad he finally realized that Bill's wishes might not be best.
Ah, you've given me back some hope! Please, let the makeup sex be just as good!

Tom would do ANYTHING. But sometimes he needs to realize that what's coming out of Bill's mouth is not, in fact, what Bill NEEDS most.
