aw this is gonna be so sweet. do you have experience with the military or do you just have a good imagination? seems realistic to me, though i've only ever had a friends with dads in the Navy and Marines, and they didn't see much action :) ooh, good tom, i was wondering why bill was hiding, too
Author's Response: i'm all about making things as realistic as possible, so i talked to one of the deputies i work with who is a former marine and actually had the very same job that tom has. so all the specific marine things in this story were verified by him. so glad all that stuff caught your interest, as well as tom's question. it will be answered wednesday.

*groans* a warm shower sounds so unbelieveably nice, you have no idea (i'm a dialysis patient and I have a temporary catheter straight to my heart, and I am not aloowed to shower with it, or risk getting a really nasty infection).
This is a neat story line. Very different. I'm delighted Tom wrote him back, and that tey seem to be getting along so well. I love Toms taste in music, it jives so well with my own.
This is a pretty interesting fic so far. I can't wait to see more! Keep up the awesome work!
