Author's Response: tom basically has no hair cuz he's in the military so he's got a buzz cut at this point, but by the end of the story it'll grow out a little. bill's hair is black and looks like it did in russia.

Okay trying to cheer up with my ramblings. Time differences suck, major ass. You are suppose to update on wednesday but due to my grand location in Europe I do not get them until Thursday. And do I ever learn? No, I do not. I spend Wednesday pushing the refresh button on the page just in case you have uploaded ahead of schedule, which of course it is not for me. I am impatient as hell - I just want to know what happens. Is that so wrong?
So Gustav died, I sort of guessed that, what I did not guess what that Tom walked away completely unscattered or did he? Are you hiding something? Is he hiding something? Hmm, well three more days and I'll know - though for me technically four - damn that time difference. I do not have much more to add. I as always hope you mess up the days. If I send you a calender with only saturdays and wednesdays on it, would you believe it?

Also, now that I've skimmed the other reviews of this chapter, I suppose it wasn't *so* much of a shock that Gustav died. Tom was, after all, pretty depressed on the phone...

...I knew Gustav would be gone. I had hte feeling when we found out Tom was alive, and I knew for sure as soon as Bill asked about him. That makes me really sad. Tom needed him. And he was gonna get married when he got home! This is terrible.
But I am very happy Tom is okay. The only way I could be any happier was if he were shot in the ass (or something similar) and getting sent home.
Tom had very good advice as far as Mike-ass goes. You gotta talk about these things.
Wonderful chapter. It was nice seeing them get a bit of emailing in. Even though I think the handwritten letters somehow mean more. You know? Can't wait to see more! Keep up the lovely work!
