i just read your whole story and I LOVE IT!
i have a lot odf friends in afghan ( british soldiers) and my boyfriend is there as well so your plot really hits home.. i was so sad when i found out that gus was killed :(
but i'm glad there's a happy ending for tom and bill ( hopesfully! :D)
