I'm nervous about Tom's fight because I'm hoping it's not going to be what I think it is!
So much going on in this chapter. I mean, I understand why Bu does what he does, but he's such an ass about it. All I can figure is that it's for control, but damn. Also I wanted to smack jost. Academic clueless to the "real world."
Author's Response: I think Bu is just one of those people that isn't nice. He cares for his daughter and treats her right but it's not in his nature to be kind and helpful to anyone else. Life in his profession has made him hard and impatient. But seriously, Jost was so clueless and careless!

Author's Response: I think he's got a bit of a fighting/pain kink, for sure. I guess when that's what gets his blood flowing when it comes to making money, it would get his blood flowing to other places too, if you know what I mean. ;) I have to tell you, it's always been one of my favorite things to write descriptions of Bill's clothes and makeup in stories. He's so pretty and so much fun to describe.
