Oh my god, I've spend the last week reading this and I loved it so much! And the epilogue was so great with all happy endings and the proposal and omg so sweet! Loved it really, very well written and kept on being interesting in every single chapter! :D

Wow, wow, wow, I just can't think properly about all the things I want to say about this story, I mean I found it a week ago and I was like I will read it later so I started to postpone reading it until I found that your story it's being translated in a TH fanfiction site in Spanish, so I said oh my god, it might be a sign for me to begin to read it, but unfortunately the girl who is translating only has uploaded the 1st chapter and I read it anyway and that was enough for me to stay hooked on the story, I wanted to continue reading because somehow I find that reading it in my native language it much easier but at the same time I prefer to read it in the original language because I think that I can feel even more all what you want to transmit through each chapter and I can feel closer to the character's feelings... so I said well if it is already complete in English, I will read it NOW, because honestly I couldn't wait anymore since I read the 1st chapter and that's how i read it all in three days. I love the way you write, I love the story and how everything happened at it's time, definitely this is one of the best fics i've ever read, you know i love reading fanfiction about TH because somehow I feel kinda close to them and this is true as weird as it sounds haha. In your story i can perfectly picture every single scene some of them made me feel empty, worried, happy, horny, mad, amazed and actually I laugh lots with Gustav I can swear that the character of your story would fit perfectly with the actual real, you had me so intrigued with all the things going between Bill and Tom some times you surprised me with the things they said to each other cause I didnt expect them to say that kind of stuff, actually I love that besides the typical Bill in every twc story, your Bill was gay yeah obviously but I like that you didnt make him that super chessy & girly, anyways I loved everything about "Rough" thanks for writing it! Author's Response: It is a great but also unnerving feeling to sleep in the same bed with someone you are just getting to know! Honestly, sharing a bed with a boy has its downfalls. Like if they snore or steal the covers. n.nrnrnThat was kind of one of those little quirks I just tossed in, because that's how I am personally. I can fall asleep in a bed with someone else when it's bed time, but I can't just randomly fall asleep on the couch when other people are around or I know someone will come home while I"m asleep there. It's weird, but there's no reason for it!

Oh my gosh, I'm in the process of rereading this bad boy -- (lol, unintentional possible pun not intended) -- because as I was opening the fridge this morning I suddenly had a visualization of a scene from one of the middle chapters XD Yeah, really not sure why that happened.

So yeah, loving all over this fic all over again, heehee!

Oh man, but what I was thinking towards the end of this particular chapter was how flippin' awesome it would be if we could get a glimpse of Tom's mindset during the three months after he and Bill met for the first time. Whether he thought about him at all... maybe more angst ^^

Okay, I just finished reading your story and I'm kind of fucked-up and almost in tears right now, so I don't know what it will come out of my comment (and sorry for my mistakes, english is not my mother tongue).
First, let me say a big thank you for writing such an amazing story and an amazing ending. Ending a story is a very delicate thing to do and many people fuck all up at that point. Also, being your story about violence and a lot of sad things, it could easily end with something hurtful and sad, but you chose the happy ending and you don't know how much I'm grateful for this. I always say "hurt/comfort is okay, but lemme have an happy ending" because I can stand the pgs struggling to reach their happyness, but in the end they must reach it or it leaves me with disappointment and desperation.
From these first lines maybe you've already understood that your story has all the features I like to find in a fanfiction. As I've already said to you on twitter, it's been long since I last read a fanfiction and I didn't even know how much I needed one until I found yours. And believe me, I couldn't have found something better. This story goes straight in my top 5 of favourite fanfictions, because he has everything I love to find in stories. There is violence, there is sadness, there is pain and obstacles, but there is also love and fun and everything that makes it perfect.
Also I'd like to point out how much I love your writing. Not many people can write in this captivated way that almost force the reader to stay focused on the story all the time. I read your story in three days and I swear I've been up all night until 7am to read it because I can't seem to stop myself. In fact I'm very sad that I've already finished it because this is one of those stories you would like to read forever and ever and ever. But I know that everything good must come to and end and you gave the perfect one to this story.
I admire the way you made things find their way like many pieces of a puzzle. Everything is right in the end and you can just stay there in awe, thinking about how everything has turned out for the better.
Also you created very fascinating characters, all of them. I loved your Tom, I loved your Bill, I absolutely loved Gustav and Georg.
I loved the way you described the little things, details about their behaviours or small thing like the way Tom puts his hands behind his neck. If the devil is in the details, then you're the freaking devil and I love you for being it.
You gave your characters psychological depth and that's not something everyone is capable of doing.
It was an immense pleasure reading this story and you can be sure I'll be reading it over and over again in the future. I will never forget about this Tom or this Bill or anything you wrote because it's simply fucking amazing.
I honestly thought that when Jost said Bill's work was to be published, Bill would have titled it "Rough". It would have made the perfect conclusion to the cirle, but it's perfect anyway.
Your story made me also think about many things in my life that I'm not gonna boring you with but just know that you've been very deep and smart in writing Bill and Tom's past events and how they eventually made up with their pasts. It was awesome to read and it left something in the reader, I can assure you that.
The only thing that left me a bit disappointed (but it's a minor thing, really) is that the last "hot" scene of the story is Bill fucking Tom. You see, I don't really like BotTom and I was glad when in the beginning of the chapter you just mentioned that they had BotTom sex but not described it. But hey, that's nothing you should be bothered about because everything else was amazingly perfect. While reading the story I had the feeling you really know how to observe situations and things in real life because you always describe everything so well, in particular character's attitudes. I loved every single word you wrote about Tom. Really, he's my favourite character and it's really rare that I love a character like that. He's perfect the way you described it. I think we would all be really, really lucky to find a guy like him in our lives.
And I also loved how you gave a chance to everyone, not only the good characters but also the "bad" ones like Bushido, and pointed out that everyone has a good side. It was something very clever to do and it made my admiration for you only go straight up and from there it never backed down.
I also thought that Tom and Bill would have returned to the gas station where they met, but anyway!
I'm kind of nostalgic right now, if I think about how it all started, because it seems like years have passed since I started to read this story and I have clear in my mind the first moments of Bill and Tom: Tom being rude and Bill being all problematic and afraid. It's like and old film in my head with a cheesy soundtrack playing along with it.
Now I think I will either read all your stories or re-read this one after I catched up the breath you took away from me with your amazing writing skills.

I really appreciate that you took the time to mention little details, and I'm thrilled that you were able to connect to the story and characters. I wrote this over a year and a half, and when I started it I had no idea how it would end so I'm just as happy as you were that it all fell into place and connections were made, haha.

I just can't seem to find many well-written Tom/OFC stories.. I know there are many, but not any really original, interesting, smart, funny and sexy stories... there's a few that I already track and then there's yours here... But would you ever write something really intense... you say no to OFC but then Bill/Tom... another story about them meeting each other. Do you know the book called "Bared to you" by Sylvia Day? Like this erotic romance novel, that is very well-written... intelligent and very sexy :'D and also intense which I love. Because they're so consumed with wanting each other and they sometimes fight but then have make up sex and all kinds of hot things. I was just wondering if you'd ever write something like that? Anyway, I'm just very thankful for finding this story in the first place. Your story is so amazing. I'll never get tired of it. Thanks for your answers.

Author's Response: Hiiii, I didn't realize I never responded to this! I know what you mean about the Tom/OFC. I've tried to read a few but most of them don't keep my attention. Mainly because they are written in first-person and I can so obviously tell that it's the author writing about herself and Tom. There's nothing wrong with that for your own personal enjoyment, but it's not very fun for other people to read! I've never heard of that book but it sounds awesome. I'm not sure what I'll write next.. I won't rule anything out! Anyway, I hope you're doing well. I miss talking to you each week! Thank you for loving my story. <3
