The more I read this story the more I love it! It has become of the few stories that I have reread *shifty eyes* and reread *shifter eyes* and reread. I printed it out and carrying it around in my bag and I also keep a copy next to my bed. So I think I’ve read it from the first to the last word about…25 times and that’s an underestimate. I really enjoy certain elements of this story. I’ll tell you about them now. *sits everyone in a circle for share time*

The vampires, well duh there are a lot of fun vampire stories out there and I’m a bit of a vamp fan. And we know that Bill and vampire go together like toast and jam. He’s dark and mysterious and sexy and blah blah blah. *eye roll* I don’t have to go into that one it’s obvious.

Another thing I like is the bond-mates OMG what a genius idea to subtly get twincest into the story for a solid reason. Such a clever idea! Really! And I really love the elements of the bond-mate they touch on things that add to the story and make me feel more connected. The need for touch, the tactile connection. It makes me crave touch with others. I like that is what saved Bill in the first place and that the twin connection is strengthened by the bond. It’s just such an incredible plot device.

I also really enjoy the subtle way that information is taught to the reader through Sybil. She is a great addition to the depth of the story as well as a clever plot device. I enjoy that she exists under the pretext to teach Bill about his new life but in turn the reader gets to learn about your version of vampires and their rules. I like that they’re laid out. I hate it when I’m going along and information is just thrown in so it works for the story so the writer can get the characters to do what they need them too. Yours seems to go the other way, the characters follow the rules and the plot drives itself.

I like that you had a clear challenge as well as a defined “bad guy”. That we got both and Bill over came both. Well yeah he overcame Nikols in that he was able to fight back in court. And is reasonably able to overcome the rape, but of course that has long lasting effects.

I like the reverence and respect you treat Bill’s rape with. I like that it is dealt with in a step by step process. That he learns to cope. That he takes steps forward but also back. I appreciate that you deal with it in such a human manner.

I don’t know how to fully break down this story in a way that explains exactly how I feel about. It’s an overall aspect of the story. Its that it feels like it could be true. That it hurts like it could be true. But that it has a nice clean ending…life never has those. But still it feels complete. It’s my happy story. My take with me and read in public story. The sex doesn’t affect me like it used to because I’ve read it so much but it still gets me a little hot around the collar. It’s just a beautiful story and I’m so glad that I have the privilege to have read it to get to continue to read it.

this story seems odly familiar

This story is fluffy sexy fun. There were so many point in which you could have taken it to the dark side and yet every time I was afraid that you would you steered it right back into the land of “it’s going to be ok.” I enjoy a dark story just like the next girl, IDK is that normal to enjoy a dark story?, anyway I digress. The characters were well developed and the story had great depth and was very enthralling. This was such a joy to read. It had its dark moments, its sad moments, its happy moments, and its sexy/hot moments. It was simply fun. There were some awesome unexpected twists which were a lot of fun, because most of the story was fairly straightforward, so when there was a twist I wasn’t expecting it at all. Great read!
