I have a question. And before I ask it, please understand I'm not criticizing the way you wrote this story at all. In all honesty, I'm actually completely fascinated with how you constructed it from the characterization and the different pieces of lore pieced together. You took it from a really interesting level as far as vampire tales go. So, my question, out of pure morbid curiosity is this: Why did you decide to make it so painful for the Strigoi to turn a human? I've read vampire literature where it's painful for the one being turned, in this case Gustav, but really never encountered this angle you've created.

Anyways. Yes ;D I loved the ending of this chapter with Tom finally breaking down. It seemed appropriate finally. And poor Georg, the entire time I was reading the last couple parts of this I could only think of how much he must be trying to take it at once and how overwhelming it would be.

Author's Response: Ooh, interesting question. Okay, the first reason I did it (and this is complete honesty :)) I enjoy putting Bill through the wringer. The second reason is I wanted day dwellers to be able to pass on their traits, but also be able to explain why they hadn't populated the Strigoi world with their day dwelling kin. So I made age = difficulty in creating new vampires, which automatically included day dwellers because of their unique physiology, and difficulty ended up also equating to pain when I came to decide how to describe it. Thank you so much for commenting and for asking such an interesting question. I'm glad Georg's plight came through as well; I wanted both him and Gustav to be a big part of the whole incident.

I can't believe he tried to kill Tom, he really is insane. That was an amazing thing for Gustav to do! I hope he will be okay.

That was an amazing scene, with Bill and the strigoi. You could really feel Bill's power and anger. I was wondering how you were going to tackle the strigoi and how they caught him, and this was certainly no disappointment. I'm so glad they did catch him, and that Bill had the chance to confront him just made it all the sweeter.

I'm praying that Gustav will be all right now. I hope that he will take on the traits of Bill and be a day dweller also. I have a feeling that something might develop between him and Georg, but I'll just have to wait and see.

Poor Tom, it was inevitable that he was going to break down soon. And after the events of this, I'm not surprised it happened now.

This chapter really showed how great a writer you are. It was entirely gripping. The build up at the beginning had me on the edge of my seat... I just knew something big was going to happen, without knowing what. And I stayed on the edge the entire time I was reading. Absolutely amazing and I really can't wait for the next chapter now!

Author's Response: Thank you :). People with nothing left are dangerous people and he was just bonkers enough to think he could get away with destroying Bill's life as well. Gustav is the quiet type, but he seems to be the type who acts when necessary. The first draft of the scene barely mentioned him, but then I decided I needed the Gs more involved and I restructured the whole thing for more drama :). I'm so pleased Bill's anger came through; I wanted his anger to finally overcome his fear. I've been waiting to be able to let Tom show some of the strain he's been under and it was kind of a relief to write it, if that doesn't sound too weird. I'm so very pleased you enjoyed the chapter; I have to admit this is one of the chapters I enjoyed writing the most; it was exciting to write :). Thank you so much *hugs*

Oh my God, YAY!

That was fucking beautiful. It was seriously the most touching sex scene I've ever read. I can't even call it smut because it wasn't smut, it was far too beautiufl to be considered smut.

Okay, I apologise in advance as this may not be as long as review as normal because... Guh, I don't think my brain can function properly after that^^ That was so hot, and so intense. I was happy with them moving onto level 2 at the start of the chapter, that was hot enough... But then the end, wow! Not only was it hot as hell, but I am so pleased for the both of them. That Bill was finally able to allow Tom to make love to him was amazing. Yes, he reacted strongly, but the sense of relief must be overwhelming after an event of that magnitude. I loved how gentle and caring Tom was throughout.

So Bill has telekinesis too! Wow, I'm jealous, that's one ability I've always wanted to have, especially when I'm feeling lazy!

It really feels as if Bill is finally ready to heal after all this. Now all we need is for them to catch the strigoi that raped him and maybe they will be able to move on. If the rating system was still here, this story would be ten out of ten the whole way for me!

So very happy you liked the last scene - it took me much longer to write than I expected since it kept expanding. I've always wanted to be telekinetic too :D ... I've had really realistic dreams about it and then woken up very disappointed :P. As for the Strigoi who attacked Bill ... watch this space. This fic…is my LIFE
I have never ever in my entire time in the wonderful world of fan fiction read anything quite like this, it has proven to be one of the most powerful stories I have ever come across!
To me the prospect of vampires has always been intriguing, but it was also something that I didn’t feel the need to mix with TH. Hence why I haven’t read this before! That…was a big mistake
I’ve seen the updates for it loads of times, but never really gotten to the point where you click it…again, BIG mistake
I hope you can forgive me for being so narrow minded and I can assure you that I have now learned my lesson…never doubt anything coming from you ;)

The first paragraphs just struck me with so much force I found it hard to breath, I hadn’t in my wildest imagination predicted that anyone could be able to write such a masterpiece in fan fiction and not a book, because love, this story is so epic it could compete to lord of the rings (and that is saying a lot considering it’s my favorite book of all times)
The fact that you have managed to create such a believable and real universe just strikes me, it was amazing to get through the fist chapters and see how you explained with such care and wisdom.

Bill’s feelings and confusion was (and still is) so beautifully described that you almost had me crying there for a moment. And of course the interaction with other people and the joy of them both getting better is just perfect. The fact that you let us know so much about their race in general is just extreme, it’s something that I will be forever grateful for!

But my favorite part in this story, the one that I’m yearning for with every fiber of my being ;) is the feeding !
I have read tons of great porn all around this place, but nothing could compare to that and that wasn’t even sex. The pure need you write in Bill is poured out to the reader through your words and I could almost feel the ache in myself when he bit Tom coherent for the first time. I had no idea that something so simple as drinking blood could be so amazingly described, and for both parts too! That really blew my mind how you managed to write Bill’s hunger and Tom’s pleasure and just wind them together as if it was the only thing that existed in the universe.

I am utterly lost in this honey
And I’m not entirely sure I wanna get out ;)
To me, this story is simply epic

Yes! I love how the G's had to find out. I keep thinking that Georg seems to be better friends with the twins and that he should take it better, but I can also see how his being closer to them and being so used to the way they were would make it more difficult for him. I deliberately wanted to give him something he couldn't be laid back about, because it was just that one step to the left of any possibilty of normal.
