It has been a long road to get to where I am at now, so thank you. Since this last posting, I've had numerous other surgeries, and am still in recovery mode. But, if you're still interested, there is another chapter to read, and yes, I will finish this story.

Poor Tom really broke my heart when he felt replaced. His father is a total and complete idiot. But, now, Tom has his Bill and his mom and that's all he needs.
I love how you've continued the theme of the glowing stars throughout this whole story. And Tom's little confession of love at the end -- well, Bill better be thrilled by that.
I just loved this update so much! And I really, really hope that things go well for you with your health. You are in my thoughts and definitely in my prayers!

Moving on, I am on the mend now- most of my surgeries are out of the way. I do plan on finishing this story, so I hope you're still around to read it. I will tell you that Tom meant well, stoned or not. He truly loved him, and I am not condoning drug use at all, but perhaps being stoned help him share his true feelings? As for the Hunger Games books, I received them the Christmas after you left this, the whole entire set from my best friend! It was a nice set, too, all hard-back books in a nice little box set. And you're right, I enjoyed the hell out of those books, and they now hold a special place in my heart!

I think his confession is perfect. He could blame it on the drugs if he wanted, but we all know it's not the weed talking. Tom definitely needs Bill in his life, especially after what he experienced earlier today. That can't be easy for a kid, and it's good that Bill has Tom too... I feel bad for him too with his parents never around.
