I think this is one of those chapters where I just have to sit and absorb everything.
I knew Oliver was going to throw a wrench in the works. But from Tom's side, of course he sees no reason to not do it. Bill doesn't love him, right? So nothing to hold him back. But of course, Tom still had to think of Bill.
Bill's dream is interesting. I'm hoping we'll get that follow-up call next chapter.

I didn't notice the new warnings! I felt a little victorious that Tom could have sex with Oliver, that he is kinda moved on from Bill....kinda. But Bill is realizing he still needs Tom. I think Tom will regret he didn't save himself for Bill. He might even agonize over it. And Bill will be shocked if/when he finds out. Lots in store, huh? You good story writer, you~
Author's Response: Haha, while Bill may seem aloof he is actually very aware of how much he depends on Tom. It gives him security that maybe he takes for granted sometimes XD As for Tom well, you'll see ;D

I think Bill will come to miss Tom a lot, and Tom will move on a bit. Never completely, because you can never forget a love like Tom had for Bill.
I really like the random details you include, like Tom playing Boo on Mario Party, and who the computer characters were. Little details like that lighten it up and make the story more realistic. This story is like pure emotion and relationships, so little bits like that relax the intensity a bit. I like them!

This is for chapter 8, and I must say, it was not how I had hoped it would turn it, but it is what I expected. MOrtification, rejection, and sadness on both their parts.
Though I will say I expected Natalie to have pointed it out to Bill, not Andi, seeing as she thought the flowers were for Bill, and was surprised they were for her at the recital thing.
I am also really enjoying this up to this point, and would love to read more, but its almost three in the morning and I gotta get some sleep.

Author's Response: Apathy isn't exactly bad lol. To him it feels better than constantly hurting. It's a really weird emotion for him because he's never felt it so profoundly. It's like having tons of weight off your back, so he welcomes it :) I was so surprised to wake up to so many new reviews and I'm happy that you're all caught up :D

Oh Tom *holds him tight* That's so sad. I am actually rather peeved at Bill right now, he's just effectively broken Tom's heart and expects things to go back to normal?! *sigh*
Author's Response: He was afraid that Tom would be mad at him for it, but he wasn't so Bill just thought that it was something they could get past. He wasn't expecting to get broken up with and he accepted it because he was giving Tom what he wanted again. So he doesn't except that things will go back to normal right away, but he hopes for it... someday XD;

Author's Response: Bill has actually always been very deeply aware of all that Tom does for him. He isn't without his own insecurities XD I just haven't shown what some of them are yet ;)

Author's Response: Haha, well Bill doesn't love him though so he never actually has a moment where he realizes that he's loved him all along or anything. I mean, do you feel like you could secretly be in love with any of your friends but just be in denial about it? XD It's something that they'll need to put a loooot of effort into since no journey is without its obstacles.
