Ooooohhhh eeeeeeeeeeee.... That's my in-suspense noise. Bill is suffering a broken heart, I think! It was just delayed from the time of breakage. It's neat to see both Bill and Tom react in their own ways about the failure of their relationship.

I think MY heart feels like it's been ripped out of my chest. I'm feeling like Bill and I can't seem to grasp everything I'm feeling without just wanting to curl into a ball and sob my pain away. You are putting me right there and god, I feel like I could have done the exact bloody thing if I'd been Bill. I get what he's going through and I HATE feeling like this. It rings too familiar and nothing hurts quite like rejection. And YET....
I wish to hope. ;_______;
Author's Response: I've gotten emotional writing some of these chapters myself since a lot of the story is a collection of some of my actual experiences, feelings, and thoughts because I've been both in Bill and Tom's shoes before. So it actually makes me giddy to know that I can create such a reaction from people XD; I hope the ending will make it all better :)

I really feel for Bill in his confusion, after all that they have been through it has to be hard figuring out exactly how you feel. Hopefully they can sort things out. I would like to see them together, assuming that Bill actually decided that was what he wanted, but I can see where Tom may not want to take that risk again. Either way I'm looking forward to more *snuggles*

Tom's doing great, but Bill isn't. Bill's sinking lower and lower and it's kinda sad. I liked reading about their first day of school! I was homeschooled, and I never went to high school so I've wondered what it's like. It doesn't sound terribly special.
I think Bill's gonna break down and swallow his pride, admitting he made a mistake and that he misses Tom. But I don't know, I kinda think that they're more compatible as friends and not as lovers. *shrugs* I have no idea. I kinda want this to end with them as friends, but it's really hard to be friends with your ex again.
Author's Response: No, high school is really anything but special xD I mean there are many things that factor into the experience such as the quality of education, the students and teachers, etc but it really is anything but glamorous.rn

Surprisingly, I want it to end with Bill and Tom happily together :D This has been such an enjoyable story, very realistic with how hard it is for them, but also how they (hopefully) can get through it together.

Man, this chapter broke my heart. Poor Bill. For him, it feels like too little, too late, and I was near tears by the end. So well written and as always, I'm very anxious for more!

It's so weird because I relate to Tom a lot, and to Bill. Bill's pride and shame that makes him fail to admit he wants Tom back, and Tom's catharsis and freedom... Not that there's sides, but I'm rooting more for Tom because I've so recently been in his position of getting over someone. It does feel like catharsis, and I like it. Bill is still really nice and caring, but he needs to pitch his guilt! He shouldn't feel guilty for Tom loving him, cuz that was all Tom and not Bill's fault anyway. /long rambling review
But yeah, seriously, you're really amazing at writing the drama of relationships. I'm completely spellbound. ^_^
Author's Response: I've been in this/still am in this situation XD I'm pretty much writing out of my own experiences, but with added details I make up myself so I guess this is why I can write about it. As for Bill, his guilt comes basically from his own actions lol knowing he made some big mistakes. I'm glad that you're feeling much better now :)

OOOOh a change of view and of opinion maybe, interesting. I can't help but feel sorry for Bill but at the same time I really hope he doesn't hurt Tom again. Though the fact that he is aware of the possibility makes this unlikely. They are both in a difficult position right now, neither one happy with the state of their relationship and unsure of how to go forward. I'm certainly looking forward to more honey. It's hard to see Bill so dejected, but I almost don't want to feel sorry for him, you know? On the other hand, he didn't ask for Tom to like him and he's sort of losing his best friend over this, so this has got to be really tough on him.
I did like seeing Bill's pov here, as I really was invested in Tom's and it was easier to be upset at Bill over all of this from Tom's pov.
Author's Response: Haha, your reaction to Bill is what I expected all along from readers. I always imagined quite a few people would be peeved at him. Everyone has been so sympathetic towards Tom and occasionally towards Bill, but I suppose to really feel bad one might need to have been in those shoes before and know what it's like. At least he has no malicious intentions right? ^^;
