A million apologies for not reviewing sooner because this is one of the best stories on this site. Your descriptions of Tom's feelings for Bill are so painful to read because it makes me feel so bad for him. You're doing a great job; I can't wait to read the next chapter. :)

This is such a sad story. I really feel for Tom but am a bit puzzled by Bill because I don't actually believe he doesn't feel something for Tom, given the way Bill has invaded Tom's space as he has, eg. sitting on his lap, changing in front of him. Or is there some dynamic aspect I'm missing or will be revealed in later chapters?
Author's Response: This is why I named the story what I did xD It just gradually gets worse. I can't say if your opinions on Bill are right or wrong, but you were supposed to get that impression ^^ So I feel like I've been successful lol. I hope you'll stick around for the other chapters.

Reading this kind of awkwardness and now Bill has altered his behavior with Tom, you just don't know how their relationship (friendship) can survive. Maybe it would gradually fall away, as Bill finds more and more things he's uncomfortable doing or talking with Tom about. That and the the title of the next chapter...well, I can't say it makes me nervous, because I just don't know how this is going to end, but it makes my heart hurt for Tom, for sure.

Ouuuch. So awkward, those two. I didn't really imagine how it would play out, tbh. I tend to forget this is about love unrequited, so I have to remind myself that Bill isn't going to just feel the same way. You get used to things in fic but this is totally different. Because of that, I have no frame of reference, really, to have an idea which way it's going to go. And here's where I realize I suck at that 'patience' thing. xD
Author's Response: It would've been easy for me to go the 'oh he's loved him all along too' route and save myself having to write the next 9 or 10 chapters but I don't think that's the way it usually works out in real life. It's certainly not my experience with it and I've been in each of their positions. The story is slow, so thanks for your patience lol XD, but I think it's important to show how they interact and now how they'll cope, because really all anyone can do no matter how bad things get is keep living.

Oohh, evil cliffhanger! About time they got to this point. In this chapter it seemed like Bill was crushing on Tom, despite his seeming nonchalance in the previous chapters. I do wonder what Bill will say now? Great chapter as always!

Whilst I can't say I'm upset that Andi rejected Bill I do feel bad for him. Poor Tom, I hope that he finds the courage to tell Bill how he feels, though then of course it all comes down to Bill's reaction. *snuggles*
Author's Response: XDD When I planned this story originally I did envision Andi to be slightly villainous, but I thought that there were too many stories that weren't very nice to Andi so I thought I'd make him a good and nice guy. And yet people still seem to dislike him in this lol. I hope I can continue to keep your interest in this story :3

Author's Response: Lol yes in this story Tom is only popular by association. Well, Tom is well-liked enough on his own too. At least he is in my head XD When my friend (the one who this is written for) and I discussed what we wanted to see in fic, we both agreed that there wasn't enough lovesick Tom. :)
