I died. no seriously, this was so beautiful and perfect, just the ending we were all craving for - cos lets face it, everyone loves and happy ending. and that one was perfect. who cares if it wasn't the official one. It is in my mind. I know I shouldn't get so worked up about something that is fiction, but i cannot get this story to leave my head. Random quotes, ideas and alternate ending pop up, sometimes twice a day, and sometimes only once in few months - but this story has, and I know will, stay imprinted on my mind for ever. I now have this "strange" habit of writing "Schick Mir Einen Engel" on everything, and no one knows why :). I guess what i'm trying to say is thank you for taking the time to write, as i know this fic and KoK plays a huge impact on mine, and all your other readers, lives - whether they want to admit it or not.

I have a doubt about Bill's tatoos and piercings, I'm not sure,correct me if I'm wrong but in KoK does he have the TH symbol in the back of his neck (at least this one should be but I don't remember it),torso plus eyebrow and nipple piercing? He doesn't right?
Author's Response: I (normally) only write with Bill at the point he had braids. The nipple piercing comes and goes in stories but isn't present in this one. All other tattoos are the same, though. KoK is NOT AU, so the band DID exist and the logo was definitely put in place :D

And when I thought this story couldn't possibly be made better ... You go and write this perfect, perfect ending that is all I could ever hope for.
Thoughts about the ending to KoK have been crossing my mind at the most inappropriate of times (like during my maths exam). I've been thinking about dozens of options, but I have to say that I like this one the most of all.
I almost stopped breathing at the end, fearing Bushido won't be able to say it ... And when he did, I can promise you no one has ever seen such a wide smile on my face.
Thank you, once again, for making my day that much brighter.

You know, I was afraid when KoK ended, thinking that Bill didn't make it. It would fit, of course, but then I could also see it ending just like this.
I can't quite pinpoint the point where my heart stopped, because I had wanted to see Anis finally let himself BE the way Bill needed him to be, for their bond to finally cement itself and bring Bill back to life.
I love every single line of it and yes, I could see why you were practically growling at him, because it did seem like he would never ever SAY IT but he did and I just sighed in contentment, knowing that somehow, some way, they would be alright because they were together again and this is how it was meant to be.
I am so ridiculously in love with it, I'd have quoted the whole thing back at you and tell you how much I loved it.
Trust me when I say it's going on my faves, because this is the kind of ending we all dreamed of, even if it's not an official one.
The alternative is unthinkable, but I believe had it actually happened, Anis himself would have never been the same after.

I was definitely more than growling- more like ready to throw the laptop through a window, rip my hair out and set a meadow of the rarest wild flowers on fire or something over it. That tattoo means so much - much more than just an inked piece of skin. I liked to imagine that Bill died, though (I'm awful like that) but I still adored this! In the end, they did love each other after all. I know that they did, but they had a lot of issues in the way - you know, just a multi-million dollar drug smuggling business.
A happy ending (and maybe even a happy beginning) in Columbia! Didn't Bushido want to come clean and get out of the business before Bill turned him in? Maybe that can happen now.
I'm sure Tom is glad Bill is alive, but furious that Bill went. That would be an interesting side story; Bill trying to explain how he felt stagnant in that life. Ahhhh now I wanna know more!! Do they move back in to Bushido's? How does Bill deal with the past? He didn't exactly have the best time with Bushido. He hated Bushido. But loved him to, I guess. And I just answered my own question; Bill deals with his and Bu's past by love. I still imagine it would be incredibly hard, though.
So just know that I love you a lot, and this story and KoK. I wish you luck with KoK, all your writing, and your endeavors to get KoK published!
