It is really good but incredibly sad. Emotional, powerful, touching ... I feel really sorry for both of them. One can't fight his feelings and keep hoping. And the other one just can't make it because he doesn't feel like it and he feels sorry for that ...
They both have an unconditional love for each other but on different ways.

There is just something utterly sad in unrequited love in general and even more so, when it's not really unrequited, but unbalanced, when it hurts both, but yet keeps lingering there as a hope. I think you captured that long process very well here.
It hurts me to read them like that, because I always want to read them fulfilling each other's needs and when it's not, it's devastating. Even with that hope - which might actually be the worst after all? It makes me feel sorry for them both, because not only it is hard for Bill, but not being able to give what other one needs is equally heartbreaking.
I loved the comparison of using womb there repeatedly. It is something that perfectly symbolizes their bond and repeats itself through the years.
You managed to write once again a beautiful, though bittersweet, story of love. Always worth of waiting, always. :)

Wow, this is simply amazing. The last words just absolutely killed me, I just started crying :'( I was tearing up around the middle, but still hoping for a happy ending, and that they'd end up together, but then, when I saw that they wouldn't, and it completely broke my heart

Oh god, why don't you just kill me... but seriously... I loved this. The language flowed beautifully and desperation of Bill's was captured really nicely and with utter sensitivity.

Oh gosh, so artful and sad. It's nice to read an endlessly tragic story of unrequited twin love, for once, instead of the happy, perfect, soul-mate endings that are so very abundant on this site. I once read one where Tom was desperately in love with Bill, and Bill knew and still loved him, but not like that. I wish I could remember the name of it...
