I don't, usually, like fics where it all ends up being a dream. They can feel rushed and unplanned sometimes, but this didn't in the slightest! It was a nice twist and I really enjoyed it. Just as I've thoroughly enjoyed reading this the whole way through!

Omg, you have no idea...the relief I felt when I read this. It was like there was a huge rock in my stomach that was weighing me down, and this chapter lifted it straight out. I could so hug you right now. This epilogue was perfect.

I think I just sighed with the most relief ever.
As soon as Bill started fixing Tom's tie and giving him all of that advice, the tears were pouring; I was so sure that you were going to leave us with Tom having actually gotten married, that all of our hopes of Bill and Tom reuniting were crushed. I cannot tell you how happy I was that it was all a dream. I was literally stomping my foot and saying "No! Tom can't get married! He has to be with Bill forever!" But my God, if you had left it as that, I would have praised you just as much as I will for switching it up, because leaving us with that ache, knowing that not everything will end as happily as we want it to, is one of the most realistic endings I've ever read in a fanfic. Though it was mighty painful, I applaud you all the same. This was shear brilliance, my dear.

It wasn't the ending I expected because I wouldn't dare to dream of something so satisfying. I was expecting it to be painful either way. Someone was going to get hurt. This was just so perfect and unexpected.
Recessional has been a painful journey but so worth it.

Oh, mein Gott, you actually made me cry. This story is so beautiful. I love your attention to detail; not just physically, but emotionally as well. Every single action is so descript, it practically paints the emotion into something real and tangible. That's probably what makes this chapter so painful to read. Seeing as there's one more chapter, I'm hoping for a twist. 'Bill watches Tom get married' is so ominous. I can't accept it. >.
