Jeez, I just realized I never reviewed this. I'm re-reading it cause it is featured. I love this story so f'ing much.
I guess I'm weird, because I didn't cry at the wedding part or at the ending.
I cried when Bill was like "You didn't miss me? I missed you all the time" And the part where he was like "Every person I know knew about you"
GOD THAT WAS SUCH A TEAR-JERKER. I was sobbing like a little baby. Such an amazing story, I freaking love you XD

The last chapter had me blinking continuously to fight tears. It took me ten minutes to dare to open this epilogue.
And... wow. I was not expecting this at all. Love love love LOVE IT. I really could not have handled any other ending. XD
I loved this. (I must mention, I've been listening to that Vienna Teng song ever since I started reading this. *chuckles*)

"I want you to, um..." Bill begins, clearing his throat. He keeps his eyes, vigilantly, on the actions of his hands. "I want you to give Vanessa a break sometimes and let her mess with the radio, even if it's your car, okay?" His eyes flicker to Tom's before quickly returning to the tie. He swallows, again. "And, um...try to remember, you're not always right? 'Cause you...you do that a lot. It gets belligerent."
"Bill..." Tom wants to understand, he does, but watching Bill's face is giving him no answers and none of Bill's words are explaining why he left.
"And you gotta remember to tell her shit. That's important. I mean, not everything, but...well, almost everything." Tom winces as Bill jerks the cloth up, tightening it around his neck. "And maybe...teach her German. There's no reason for her to feel left out when you guys visit Mom." Bill's adjusting it now; Tom doesn't even know that there's any real work left to be done on it, but Bill keeps staring, his fingers keep moving. "Don't forget about, like, Thanksgiving and the Fourth of July; probably important to her...though I guess you won't, by now. Anniversaries too." Bill looks up again with that one, like the occurrence of the thought is sudden and important enough for eye contact. "They're a big deal. And if you're playing or something...sometimes you don't remember. Write it down, if you have to. And..." Bill's hands drop to his sides now, still staring at the newly-tied Windsor knot. "If you get the urge to tell her you love her..." He sighs, shakily, and raises his gaze again, brave enough to hold Tom's this time, "just do it, okay? Anytime you can."
Tom shakes his head, reaches up to cup Bill's neck, runs a thumb over his earlobe. He leans forward, hardly surprised when Bill turns his head, when his lips only land on the corner of Bill's mouth. Tom presses his forehead to the side of Bill's and closes his eyes, listening to his twin's breaths. Each one shudders.

In this story, there are like the most beautiful sentences i've ever read, and i dont know how you are able to come up with them, some of my favorites is in chapter 20.
"He doesn't want to think about the person he's supposed to love more than anyone. He wants to focus on the person he does."
and
" He doesn't need air. He doesn't need to worry about Vanessa or the wedding or his old bandmates. The world is in his arms." Soo beautiful and sad and romantic.... Wow

gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah. oh no, you made me cry. "You are...the best thing that never happened to me." = sad/happy gasping tears. and bill's speal to tom about what to do and what not to do = heartbreaking.
