Once again, so much detail. And so very sad. I can't believe how well you wrote the scene with Bill clinging to Simone's lifeless body. And Tom cuddling him like a child in Simone's rocking chair. And now Bill is being so brave, trying to keep his injuries and his horrible lifestyle secret to perotect Tom. It must break his heart knowing how much Tom wants him to live with him, but Bill knowing it will likely never happen. Bill must want that so much it must kill him to believe he'll never escape from Gordon. Adam is really sweet and caring too. I love that he has a crush on Tom. Does Tom have no idea how he feels? Poor Adam living with the man he loves but just as friends. Can't wait to find out how Tom discovers what's happening to Bill, But don't rush the story, I love all the details.
Author's Response: Oh, no ma'am, I am absolutely, in no way rushing this, there are still so many characters to bring to life here. I love Adam's character, the person he is in my head is just so rare, so good. If you'll go back, you'll notice he's not really in love with Tom anymore, he's accepted their friendship and partnership the way it is, though feelings may arise later, I'm not sure yet. I don't know how well it's going to do and I don't really care, this story is my child and I may need to go back and make some changes to it, not sure yet. I loved that scene to and I started bawling when I wrote the part with him hanging onto Simone, I mean, that was just not easy. There's not a lot of just aimless coddling in this story, it's not a cuddly one, but that was just so necessary to show the mind frame Bill was in right then. Thank you for the review and you actually gave me some ideas for later event, as always, MY MUSE has rang the muse in my head. Love you, Dear, and thanx again.

Okay, so I already emailed you a review but I just have to repeat how much I loved this first chapter. Your powers of description are amazing. I loved how much Tom cares for his brother, and how Bill puts up with his mistreatment to protect Tom. It must be hell for Tom to only see Bill once a month when he wants him to live with him permanently to protect him from Gordon. God only knows what Tom's reaction will be when he finds out the full extent of the sbuse he forces Bill to suffer. I also loved Natalie's care for Bill and how she was prepared to stand up to Gordon to protect him as best she could. I'm actually glad you didn't describe the scene in detail between Eric and Bill because it was more powerful left to the reader's imagination. And Gordon is a truly evil person, you've written his character so well I truly hate him. I'm really looking forward to reading more and to the introduction of other characters especially Bushido. This was a really great read. Thank you.
Author's Response: I wanted to leave something to the imagination of the readers, giving them just a vague look into what Bill suffers. I mean, it happens so frequently to him, and like I said, he takes on so many different roles in this, that there will be some detail oriented rape scenes, but not a lot. Yeah, Gordon's nothing nice and neither are some of the other men surrounding him, which, you'll see later. Anyway, thank you for the detailed review, darling and I hope to get the next chapter out by tonight or early morning. With All He's Taken will be on the back burner for at least a couple more days, I have to take a break from the child like brattier bill for a little while and really fix myself on this character. Thank you again!!

I loved how long this first chapter was, and how much it explained about Bill's past and present. I really love Tom's character in this, so down to earth and filled with love for his brother and hate for his stepfather. I feel so bad that Bill had to go through such a huge change; seeing his mother everyday and his brother once a week to only once a month. Bill being raped and abused is so much to handle and I can only imagine Tom's reaction to finding out. It is so brave of Bill to keep the secret from his brother, though, and I hope that Tom stays safe through this but that Bill excapes from that hell. This was a fantastic chapter and it looks like its going to be a fantastic story, so I hope that you update soon! :D
Author's Response: Thank you for such a detailed and wonderful review. That's really how I wanted to portray to, too, just someone who you'd be comfortable meeting. I can't promise protection for all the characters, but I can promise a happy ending. I hope to make the next chapters live up to the first and continue on with my last story as well. Thank you so much for taking time with the banner, I appreciate your work and dedication!! You are awesome!
