OMG, I can't believe you stopped there!!! Is the plan gonna work out? It better!! I think I was in tears for the most part of this, poor poor little bill, I just want to rip the heroin out of his hands. But that wouldn't help him, and anyway i couldn't cos he is playhouse!Bill is fictional - but it doesn't feel like that. It is written so beautifully written you could help but get sucked in and feel everything the characters feel (not literally, of course. I have never ben raped and intend it to stay that way). The scene where Kay tells Adam and Tom was just heartbreaking and I am left breathless for more!!! Teehee very well done, I'm gonna shut up now and re-read it - so I'd better get the tissues and make-up remover wipes!! xxxxxx

For some reason I forgot to mention how wonderful Adam was in this chapter. He's really showing his worth as a friend and someone who is strong and capable when others are falling apart. I love how he is the one making preparations for Bill's withdrawal and his training as a nurse will be pivotal. Incredible stuff.

Yeah, the next couple of chapters will probably focus on Bill's withdrawals a lot and what he goes through mentally and physically now that he has to deal with all that's happened without the numbing effects of the drugs in his system, so Adam will really be a huge support there. Aw, honey, I didn't really do anything, but thanks for the mention. I don't know where to start with how well you turned all your ideas into this chapter. There were some truly beautiful moments like the exchange between Tom and Natalie. I especially loved where Tom thanked her for being there for Bill when he couldn't be, and loved what Natalie said about Gordon not realising he'd pushed them so they'd die for each other. Such beautiful, heartfelt sentiments. There were also such tense scary moments like with Anis facing up to Saki in the parking lot, and Bill being amazing even though he was hurting so badly and attempting to intervene so Anis wouldn't get hurt, and then sacrificing himself again by returning to the Playhouse with Saki rather than risk anyone else getting hurt. And also there was Kay having to tell Tom and Adam exactly what was going on and to break through Tom's continued denial. Poor Tom feeling so useless in the face of what his beloved brother is suffering. Oh, and you always accuse me of being the Cliffhanger Queen...I think the crown is yours now sweetie, after the end of this chapter!!!! I know your life is super busy but you have to get the next chapter out soon. I need to know how the abduction goes.
Author's Response: I'm almost in tears at how wonderful this review is because I worked so hard on this chapter and it took me forever because I have so much to concentrate on in my life. We all have lives outside of this, but it's difficult to break away when you're writing such an intense story. I'm glad you enjoyed this and don't worry, I've already started working on the next chapter. I think there was just a lot of plot in this chapter, a lot of room for set up for some things I want to try in the next few to make things a little more interesting. I really liked the idea of Kay breaking the news, and within the next couple of chapters, you'll really get to hear his story and his personal tragedy as to why he's staying with Bushido and such. I'm hoping to get the next chapter out at some point this week. Thank you again so much for your wonderful review, and yes, I do have to thank you by always getting me through to keep writing. OMG, sweetie, I might have had to wait awhile for an update but it was soooooo worth it. This chapter is truly amazing. I know you already told me some stuff that was going to happen but the way you've written it has really blown my mind. I loved all of it. The part with Bill dropping the scrapbook was heartbreaking, I could feel both Bill's and Tom's pain. Bill might be weak in that he is at the whim of everyone around him, but he is being so strong for his brother's and Adam's safety. Natalie is so strong too, trying to help and protect Bill, and also prevent anything bad happening to his brother and friend. I adored the bit outside when Bill's wating for the car and she all but says she's willing to die as long as Bill is safe. Such devotion, she's a saint. And I'm glad she was brave enough to come out and tell Anis and Kay what was really going on. The rape scene was so brutal and tragic. Bill will never be able to play his beloved piano again without picturing and feeling that violation over and over again. Anis is so gentle and caring of Bill afterwards, and its amazing that he is putting his own safety on the line to try and rescue him. I love the friendship between Anis and Kay too. You also describe the effects of Bill's addiction so well. So, yeah, well worth waiting for, but please make the next update sooner. I can't wait!!!!!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review. Everything's starting to come full circle now, I think, so I've really got to try and plot out the next chapter well enough to match this one. I'm not really sure where it's going, yet, so it'll take a little time for me to get it all down. I love my Natalie character, and I know exactly where she's going to fit at the end of all this. Tom's so love struck by his brother, that he can't see he's grown up in a world ruled by utter corruption and I don't know exactly when I'm going to reveal that to him. Thank you, once again. Your reviews really help keep this thing going for me and you've really helped me stay focused on this story without jumping into another one just yet, but oh gawd, it's coming!!!! OMG! Cliffhanger or what? You bad girl, you absolutely have to get started on the next chapter. I so, so love Anis in this. He's starting to feel something for Bill and covering up for him and Natalie. He knows something is very wrong but also realises the danger of acting too quickly and the need to keep his intentions hidden from prying eyes and ears. Ooooh and Tom and Adam are going to stay at his place. But Saki was listening outside the door...oh, God, things are going to get so bad before they get better, I'm sure. One part I particularly loved was when Anis got a look at Bill when he was all dressed up in the dressing room, I could just imagine the stunned expression on his face when he got that first look at Bill's beauty. I also loved the part earlier where you likened Bill to a glistening river but with the pollution deep under the water...that was a very strong simile. I really can't wait to read what's going to happen next. Even though you've run some ideas past me already the way you write it is still exciting and keeps me wanting more. Get writing, girl, and feed my curiosity.

It might have been a filler but this chapter had so much in it. I love that Georg and Bill are friends, that Georg knows for sure Bill forgives him for what he had to do to him and I'm hoping there'll be more Georg in future chapters. I loved, loved, loved the opening scene with Anis getting ready for his first day at his new job. Loved how nervous he was and how Kay encouraged him...also want to know what the deal is with Kay's past. Actually can hardly believe Bill's able to function at all with what he's been through both physically and mentally, no wonder he needs the real thing and not the methadone substitute to dull the pain and anxiety. Felt so sorry for Natalie having to go against all her instincts and get the H for him. I wonder if Tom or Adam will notice the puncture mark in the crook of his elbow. I always bruise like crazy when I have blood drawn so maybe Bill will bruise as he's so malnourished and someone will notice it and start asking questions. Thank you for using my idea and making it your own with Bill going to his knees in front of Anis thinking the new director was going to be like the old one. Anis is so lovely and understanding and I loved that he couldn't sleep for worrying about Bill and that's why he returned to the Palace the next day against his better judgement when he could have bailed on the situation. And at the end with Tom and Adam getting ready to go watch Bill's performance, and sneaky Natalie not having told Bill they were coming. Ooooooh, can't wait to find out what's going to happen. So good as usual. As you can tell by the amount of times I've used the word in this review...I LOVED this chapter.

I'm not quite sure how the next chapter is going to play out in its entirety, but I did love the idea you gave me about Bill and Bushido because that really opened the door for a lot of questions to be asked in Bill's favor. Whether I'm going to have Bill and Natalie gush a confession to Bushido or not right now, is questionable and I highly doubt I'll reveal everything to him just yet. I was going to use the needle puncture, but not as being seen, as something entirely different than that. But, strange enough, its like you kinda read my mind there,lol!! I think the lines of reality are very blurred for Bill right now and that's why he sorta skirted past what he knew about Anis and was so quick to jump to conclusions, because what else has he really known of kindness? Besides Tom, Adam and Natalie, nobody else has really shown much concern for him up to this point. Anyhow, I'm off to try and at least get the next chapter started and thanx again for the lovely review!!
