Wow. That was amazing! So vivid and awful-- terrifying and emotional. I feel so sorry for anyone who sees their reflection and goes through this. I praise your prose, this is like reading an epic poem. Every word is so heavy with meaning. This story is really about something huge; but its encapsulated into this tiny, incredibly intense little snippet. And so artfully done, at that! I am deeply impressed. Wonderful job!
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I really feel like this is a topic that everyone struggles with to some degree, but for Bill, or any performer, it is a massive issue and I'm glad that you think I've capture the intensity of it because that what I was aiming for. It makes me happy. Thanks again! :)

Although this is surprisingly short, I don't think it should have been any longer. You managed to convey Bill's daily struggles in a simple and brief scene; one, I expect, he'd go through every single day.
Noticeable things I enjoyed were the phrase "a crowd of one person" and the harsh, biting attitude of Reflection.
What I didn't quite understand was the ending. Does Bill give up for lack of a better phrase, and allow his Reflection to become him (meaning, allow the eating disorder and self harm to run his life) and he is "gone", or is the Reflection the one who disappears, waiting under the surface of the mirror until Bill next checks his appearance.
I am rather curious, if you'd be able to explain it that would be magnificent.
Author's Response: I'm really glad you enjoyed it!rnrnIn my mind, I had it almost where Reflection actually becomes Bill, as if switching places with him, but I like the idea of the audience deciding for themselves for what it means. If the ending means means that he's only succumbed to his flaws and decides to go on with a blank mind, if Reflection has gotten his way at ridiculing Bill, or has actually taken over, it's the reader's perspective. At least, that's how I'd like it to be.rnrnSo, the question is, what do you think happened? (:
