You know I love all your work, but Vamps are really my thing so I've read the story right through and I absolutely adored it. Bill was incredible, so funny and young and, well, wiggly and yet the oldest of the pack and their leader. The dynamic between him and Tom and him and Bu was amazing. The sex was really hot, turned Tom was so funny in full-on hyper-chatty mode, and I loved the ending with Persis turning Georg. You can't leave it hanging when you've set up like that for a sequel. So, when you've finished A Light in the Fog I'd love you to start on a sequel to Silent Bill. Please.

I loved the idea of writing something with an open relationship in it. I've thought of a sequel, and with your prodding, I just might. Let me get out the next one, and I'll definitely consider it!

I dont think you should rewrite. Its ok as it is, its you at that moment.
But you could write the sequel in such a manner so you include information in it.
Whenever I write something (im talking here about really, REALLY long emails, as I have old friends scattered all over the world) I find I cannot rewrite.
Just go with your inner flow and let new words arrange in the sequel.
Author's Response: I have three other stories planned right now anyway, so no rewriting. I might get around to a sequel - I'd love to have them run into the Mexico City clan, then ship this vampire crew to Tokyo for a while. Then I can fill in the gaps. Thanks for writing :)

I finished this last night and, as usual, I needed some time to form an opinion.
First, I cannot believe that you just pulled off like that a whole story without a word from Bill. Naughty. But he expressed himself pretty well...
Second, I was ok with the polyamory, I guess I just didnt mind it. I have to say, though, that it was a very good idea to show like that the closenness and chemistry in the pack. Interesting.
What I liked less was the fact that we knew so little about the guys in the pack. Compared to Tom, they had no life known to us. I think you left out this part and its a pity, it could of been very good for the plot and for the characters.
I even had some small good laughs, I found some small details so funny. Yes, Ive read the whole twilight saga, Im not beyond these things, and ive seen the films, I was so curious on how on earth were they going to put on screen some aspects (it was better that expected), and your story does remind me of it, but just a very little bit. There are some details.
But all in all it was a good read. My favourite part was when Georg barged in the house while Tom was having sex with Bill. That was drama.
I would like to know more about Bu and Kay in this one, they are very interesting and I would love to know all Bills story.
*whispers* you can write a note just for me, its been done before *makes silly face* Firedancer has put some details in her stories just because I asked about them, I was thrilled. (I like her writing too, At Sea For You is my favourite of hers).
The end was a little abrupt to me, it didnt sit well, I feel its kind of unfinished and it begs for another chapter, at least.
If you really think about a sequel, then its solved.
And I have to say I delayed a little reading Silent Bill because I wanted to readit in one go and I enjoyed myself totally.

Author's Response: I am very grateful for this review, thank you! I'm glad you told me what you didn't like about it. I wasn't really happy with it, myself - I rushed it, and it's way too fluffy for my own taste, but I didn't want to fit in any forced depth to it, either. I couldn't believe I was doing vampire fic. I mean, it's so mainstream. My main interest in the story was the dynamic of Bill/Bu/Tom, and a little bit of Kay. If I did a sequel, and I'm starting to think I need to, to make up for the glaring holes in this one, I would definitely get a lot more complex. I really didn't like the ending, but at the same time, I didn't want to get into this entire world of Vampires In Mexico City, either. As much as I love that place. But that might be saved for a sequel, too. rnrnSo I'm glad you read it, sorry it wasn't better, but very happy you spent the time to write exactly what you think was missing in it. I might just go back and do some re-writing (one thing I never do, which I think, my laziness shows. Bad Margo). rnrnAs for Fyredance, I LOVE her stories!!!! The Two Against the World series was one of the things that I first read here of any length, and I was so impressed, they kept me coming back (I was, at the time, much more interested in Japanese fanfic, like Moonchild, but this website blew away anything else I'd ever seen). rnrnThanks again for your review, and I'm glad you could get some fun out of the fluff. I think Persis is a very sick (as in mentally unwell) vampire. Years and years of depression built up and exploding here and now. *shakes head* very sad. Does she really think 2 can take on the whole pack? And that if they lose Bill wont kill both of them?...Crazy undead lady. I feel bad for her though.
