I meant to comment on this yesterday but my phone wasn't letting me. I read the entire thing on my iPhone for about two straight hours. I think this story is moving and the fact that a lot of it is based on things that really do happen is a strong message. The fact that you didn't do the typical and expected Tom-comes-out-to-his-dad-and-gets-kicked-out-but-doesn't-care ending is realistic and I like that about it. I like all of this.

Okey, this is really freaking me out. Bill is like the male version of me, and Tom the male version of the girl I wouldn't call my ex, cause we never really dated due to her homophobic family. Anyways, even if reading the story kinda hurt, i liked it. Sequel? :)

Aww :( That was a good ending. Not happy, but bittersweet with the potential of something better. And that's good enough for me.
PS: And I did look up that church group on wikipedia. All I can say is, I'm happy they're so few, in relation to other groups. Hopefully they'll be stamped out with time.

I feel so sorry for Tom! I'm actually quite pissed at Bill right now, and at the beginning of this story I didn't think that was possible. But I have a feeling I will be forgiving him soon enough XD Great chapter.

I'm not liking Bill jumping to conclusions, but at the same time I can understand why he is doing so...he did see Tom holding a sign that said 'God hates fags' after all. Hopefully Tom will get the chance to explain himself soon.
