Reading about Bill in cold weather scenarios is always fun. You can picture him in outdoor gear even if RL Bill hates the cold and snow! A lovely fic, sweet and sexy. Nathan was such a pain though, good riddance to him!
Author's Response: I think Bill would be such a good sport and give absolutely everything he tried his all, even if he didn't want to do it, but he'd have to look great doing it. haha. I usually write Tom so well, he flows for me and this Bill wanted his chance to shine. He shook things up and changed it so much from my outline, he ran away from me a bit, but I love the end result. very nice story! here is pretty cold already, real autumn, and while I was reading this I almost felt cold shiver, you described winter atmospere so good!
I really liked Tom, so nice, easy going young man, though typical resort instructor a bit ( flirting with guests and trying to bed them). Bill was lucky he meet such person! on the other hand Bill's kind of personality I find quite annoying. To go to bed with a person that he knows one day? no wonder his previous relationship sucks if he is starting it without knownig partner at all, just his look and quality in bed. I wonder what will Bil do when the first euphoria will calm down and his new relationship will start to be more routine - another fast break up and another fast love? :/

Author's Response: Well first, thanks so much for reading and leaving this review. I love to hear what people think about my characters. Secondly, I absolutely respect your insight on the characters, but I don't see the Bill in this story as a bed hopping, serial dater. He wants someone he can be with and share a relationship with. He tried his best to see past all of Nathan's faults, and take into account his own. He was accommodating and generous when it came to Nathan who didn't show any of that in return to him. He found refuge in Tom, who was understanding, funny, patient, and smart. Was jumping into bed with Tom almost immediately the most ideal situation, no, but it added something to their story. Would they have a relationship after Bill's vacation was over, was this something Tom just did with guest, or did things between them mean more? But isn't that part of what makes a character more real to you? Their real choices and mistakes, whatever their faults. I really truly believe, as I tried to show in the epilogue, that they have a bright future ahead of them together. That they had gotten to know each other and even after a year when things are a bit less exciting, that they still enjoy each others company. That there is still a relationship there that is growing. I'm happy that you read it and enjoyed it, even if you didn't necessarily like all of the characters as a hole.

Yay! This is the first BB fic that I completed and I enjoyed it! Nathan was wonderfully grating and annoying lol. Reminds me of those ex bfs who just don't seem to get the word NO. I think most of us have had a share of that :-/
The development was sweet, just like a vacation fling though I have to say your epilogue made me lol for real!
Author's Response: Hey Naughty Nicki, I'm so happy mine was the first you read. *dances* Nathan was not supposed to be such a bastard. I didn't want him to be the typical, crappy boyfriend who it's obvious you should dump, but that's who he became anyway. As I wrote this he just kept getting on my nerves and turning into an ass.
