I came into the TH / THF fandom in Jan’22. The vast majority of fics I've read are quite old and I'm sure the authors have moved on (and probably wont even see new reviews), BUT I figure why not leave one anyway… I enjoyed this fic and wanted to say thank you for writing and sharing it!

Not many stories have the power to move me as completely as this one did. I was especially struck by how Bill communicated without words. The only word he ever said was "Tom". He's usually portrayed as a chatterbox but here he, though such a complex character, expresses himself powerfully with just actions. Even his silence is expressive. I love it. :)

-sighs- Wow, just wow. Id like to applaud you for your skill and patience that writing a story as amazing as this one takes. I thoroughly enjoyed it, i loved the whole concept of the mages and how you applied it to a concept that the fire mages were dangerous. Ugh and i absolutely loved that Bill played the fire mage! Amazing, thank you

I'm not sure if I've ever reviewed this story before but I feel the need to do so now, as I'm reading this for the second time. This has to be one of my all time favorite stories on THF. It's beautifully woven and told with a great deal of creativity and emotional exploration that is skipped over in most stories on here. I would love it if there might be a possible sequel in the works but I'm not going to beg for one. Anyway, I hope you're having a fantastic day and thank you again for your writing. :)

This is absolutely amazing story and if you ever are going to make a sequel for that I would definetly read it. I love how you grow the story and different plot lines and in the end all of them comes together.
You are very good with the dynamics of the character and how they interact. Even while Bill is not talking you make the character so good that reader can feel what he wants to say and what he feels. You also describe enough the places where they live/work that I can really see the city in my eyes. I love how you describe a lot of things and still let pace for readers imagination.
If you ever write a sequel for that story I would love to read some fluffy scene between Tom and Bill. Maybe something about Tom washing Bills hair and brushing it to be smooth and silky and then maybe little bit of snuggling together in bed. (I'm totally romantic loving person)
