So, now I have read the whol story. (Yes, I'm a sloooow reader LOL ) And yes, you made me cry quite a few more times.I love the ending, that you let the story end that way, it was just wonderfull, just what I needed after all that crying.But I also like that you implied that the story could end in other ways. The other ends felt like typical teenage romantic, and a bit stupid ends. Your story felt like you was giving them (the typical teenage ends) a slap on thier fingers while you showed how it all should be done, and I just love that. (Have no idea if you meant it that way, but it was refreshing to read it!) Where are so many things I would like to comment, but that will have to wait untill another time. Just want you to know that this was one of the absolutely best fics I ever read! Thank you so much for letting us read it :)

Oh, this was beautiful. Gustav's way of taking care of Georg from baby stage and to the terrific vampire he'd become was captivating. It's intriguing if their friends will ever find out, if Gustav will become a vampire, too, and if so, they'll have to leave at some point because they never grow old. Loved the entire thing. Gorgeous writing as always :)

This made me laugh so hard, not so much the counting part, but Georg's and Gustav's conversation. My daughter had a strok five years ago, and our conversations sounded just like that for a long, long time. I did/do exactly like Gustav and it made her so angry. And I could only smile at hers tantrumsas I was so happy she did speak at all. God, we must have looked mental, both of us. LOL

Author's Response: This was my favorite chapter, so I'm very glad you thought it was funny. When I finally realized the reason the sesame street vampire counted because it was a real folklore legend that they couldn't control their counting I knew I had to follow through on all the weird things instead of ignoring them. I knew then which way the whole story was going to go. I laughed myself sick. I'm so glad you thought it was funny too!

I have thought of this from start, that you doesn't write about vampires as they usual are, I really like that. I like your take on the subject, how you make this world yours, not just trying to write something that fits in in others view off it.

Author's Response: Yeah, I find literary vampires pretty much all follow the same pattern which I think is bizarre since the legendary vampires are nothing like those found in novels. I wanted to try writing about the "real" stories in history about them.

So I spent the whole day reading this...just letting it sink in and savoured every paragraph and sentence. When I saw that you had put up a new story, I knew I was in for a treat and you did NOT disappoint!
The way you write the psychological torture of these two is just brilliant. By the end I just wanted to knock both their heads together and my nose was almost pressed against the screen I was so intently reading. Even my husband commented 'honey, what ARE you reading??'
Not many people that write in the fandom can do that to me.
So thank you...for writing an awesome G/G pairing...for writing a beautifully angsty story...and for your own take on the vampire lore which I must give great applause to you for.
