Wow. I remember when Haiti was ruined by that earthquake. I was a sophomore and we were learning about Haiti in World History II. The next day it gets hit by an earthquake. So much sadness. I know I'm lucky to be an American. I'm proud to be one. My dad is in the military, so I get lots of stories about when he was a kid how America's government was so much different. I love America and all it stands for, but I fucking hate our government. I agree with my dad and his military friends; the government is too involved with our personal lives. They have made some excellent points and I couldn't agree more. I won't even lie: I hate when I'm watching Disney Channel and those stupid fucking commercials with Michelle Obama trying to keep America's kids from going obese. it's great she is tying to prevent it, but the commercials are SO stupid.

The government is seriously just making everything worse, and everytime I see Michelle Obama's face, I want to throw up. The current administration is just spending money we don't have and America is crumbling under the pressure. Washington is being run by a bunch of monkies. And y dad was in the military too. The Marines. He's so hell bent on getting me to be in the Marines too since I don't have any brothers and my sister cried when she broke a nail the night of prom. But seriously, something has to be done about this government before we end up like Greece and Italy and England and the rest of Europe. We'll end up amounting to rioting because we've drowned too far in our own debt. China owns our ass, and that's kind sad. But anyway! Many many thanks for being so incredibly awesome all the time! The photos are actually that of Alison Thompson; an Australian-American who directed the movies "Potluck" and "The Third Wave". She did a lot of volunteering in Sri Lanka when the 2004 tsunami Southeast Asia. She's my life hero and I've based the older Abby off of her. rnrnAha! xD I'm so happy that you're really getting into the story! Yes, she will have her revenge, even if it doesn't seem like it at first! I'll let you in on a little secret: it'll be a long while after she meets Tom again, and it may seem like no vengence at all was had, but it'll happen. Don't you worry about a thing! <3

Whenever I read your story, I always get "Where Does The Good Go," by Tegan&Sara stuck in my head. And you make an excellent point. Every foreigner thinks of going to America at least once in their life. And here I am, born and raised in America, hating it. I'm such a weirdo.

My family is VERY patriotic, so I'm always so proud of being an American. And my dad, who is the immigrant, always tells be thinsg about how when he was a littl boy, he was so amazed by America. He still is too! In fact, he's still amazed by color TV! But I was born and raised in America too, and I never take it for granted. I was just raised that way. Author's Response: I know this was such a boring chapter in my opinion! I'm sorrryyyyy!!! But I just thought that since veeryone was getting so restless with the universe just constantly shitting on Abby, that I should give her a break and do some character development. Originally, Abby was supposed to be stuck in a train that had tipped on teh track after hitting an on coming truck, then find a Peace Corps business card in a man's pocket after dragging him out of the toppled train. But then I thought people would get mad, so I did this instead. xD

I think this was a great career choice for Abby; way better than what I had picked out for her, haha. Have I mentioned before that I can't wait to see how much pain Tom goes through? =D Your writing is amazing and makes my day feel whole, so please update soon!

Honestly you're a great writer and I love reading your story's because you make it seem as if this stuff actually happened.
