The story has come to a very exciting point. Bill has taken the step and actually stepped in to Tom's world. The real one.
I'm sure lots of adventure and love is waiting for him along with danger and scary creatures.
I was very touched by the fact he told his oblivious mother that he loved her very much. His young and the thrills of the forbidden lure is overwhelming and he yearns for Tom. All of these things are overshadowing his safe and boring life.
Bill's hoarding of supplies should have set alarm bells ringing but man, was his mother preoccupied with kittens if anyone ever was? *g*
I love the contribution of the G's. They're fun and colourful in all their intriguing little and lush sizes ;) Georg's hair must be tempting.
It's sweet how Bill and Tom can exchange words or actions the other hasn't heard of. Tom's world is obviously very secluded. Not many new impressions can force its way into their language like making out :) Even if Tom do have a view to Bill's room, it's a rather limited source for information.
Great job with this story!

Author's Response: Maria! Hello!! Bill has indeed taken the real and crucial step into Chromea. I will have to agree with your guess ;) There are a lot of things that are awaiting Bill. Good and bad. But, he will face all of them with Tom by his side! I'm glad you liked that moment between Bill and his mom ;) Despite her obviousness, Bill loves her dearly. Even with his teenage hormones and magical bond, taking over his decision making. Haha his mom clearly missed the red flag because she was so preoccupied with the mittens for the kittens. I love what you said about the G's!! Hehe they are so different from each other in both size and personality, and in turn, they will play integral roles in this story, in different ways. Tom definitely has a limited view of the real world and I like writing about little slang barriers that arise ;) I am sooo happy that you are reading! Those tattoos are cool! Tom is really cool in this story, the coolest character ever! He's so torn between what his heart wants and what's best for them and for Chromea. I also love how he's so proper when he talks. Ooh, they even have magic powers? Neat-o.
Bill is so like his mother, focused and wacky. They don't even blink even as they exchange the most ridiculous statements. I think I would open the door too. It would be a hard decision, but I would give it a try.
Wow, seeing Chromea and Tom "in real life" is so different! I can't believe it's even more vivid. It's so cute how Tom just throws around these insanely sweet and eternal love proclamations. If I had a pretty Treedi like Tom saying that to me, I'd just melt.
Very neat chapter! I liked being introduced to Georg. He sounds cool. Tom seems kind of straitlaced and proper to me, so it's neat that calm, forward and goofy Georg is Tom's friend. Georg's attitude and traits are a nice complement to Tom's. I admire how strong your characters are. Their personalities and behavior are consistent, no matter what happens to them.
Author's Response: I want a tattoo like that to alert me when there are sweet treats in the vicinity. Then I can more easily find and consume them. I am happy you think Tom is COOOOL. I think I'd be too intimidated to talk to him because of his coolness, and the fact that he lives in a fucking paradisiacal place. But ohmigoodness, Simone...the Kitten Mittens are somthing could totally see WorkOut!Bill making, or buying. So there is yet another suggestion for a Work Out side fic, Bill and something about Kitten Mittens. Maybe he could go about on a tirade at the local pet stores for not carrying such an important piece of Kitten outerwear. Or he could fin them online and go around door to door selling them.
I do love how Bill was all lovey and humoring of his mom. It was sweet. It was also great how his con of DYING was negated by the pro of Tom, and TOM.

I loved Bill's preparation for his epic adventure -- with a bunch of junk food and a kitchen knife. This is going to end well... And how does he know there isn't yarn in that other dimension? He should definitely look for some yarn for his mother's Very Important Project. She could be the first to knit kitten mittens with yarn from another world.
