Your freind had a really fucked up doctor, I'm sorry to say. First of all I didn't realize they had artificial hearts in RL, but alloing myself to believe you and your friend about them being real, I can believe they would need yearly checks. The thing I find hard to believ is them not knocking the person out when they did it. He was only five years old for fucks sake. Yes, your body does get accustomed to anasthetic, but not that quickly, and not even if it is that infrequently given as far as I know. And I'm a good person to check that shit out with. I too have been in and out of hospitals as long as I can remember. But I am very sorry for what happened to her/him, and to Bill in this story.

This was a really good chapter. I understand how Bill feels. I've wished myself that my mother had just refused treatment for me when I was little.

I'm really looking forward to when we get to the here and now of the story. eep up the lovely work! You are doing a really good job writing this!

Author's Response: This is Andreas replying to this because i had a simular responce a few moments ago which cuased rach to get upset, so basicaly i am the kid that went through this... and when i was born i had the tubes replaced in my heart because they werent working... then when i was 16 i had the full transplant.. and at 18 i had the replacemnt of a real heart. to clarify that. Secondly the doctor got fired for ill practice... he should never of done what he did and it was illegal.. all that is coming in the third chapter.

Author's Response: your not supose to, each one last around 2 years, they are a replacemnt while you wait for a heart transplant, he has had his now.. but it took nearly 18 years befre he did

How sad! Almost everyone around me is religious. But even if an out of marraige pregnancy happens (which it had) we would take proper care of the baby since it was never he baby's fault.
Who's your friend's mom if she's that famous?

Author's Response: she was saying she was getting fatter.. then after he was born she would stuff her top with pillows and stuff.. and then use less and less... saying she was losint weight. as for the religious thing, not everyone is the same, this is a true story and that is what happened to him. some people are against births outside of marriage.. and they are one of those people, it just happenes. as for his mother she was a welsh singer about 20 years ago, her name is annabella... but used a fake name when she sang which i dont know.. Andreas Dont talk about it and i respect his decision.
