And the funniest thing I learned about lions is that females prefer to mate with males with the darkest, richest manes. I can imagine LionBill being too sensitive and sweet to chase other animals, and I think he would want to become vegetarian if he ever found out about that whole "Circle of Life" thing. Author's Response: Ah,ha,ha, who would be OCD enough to research lions for a silly little crack fic? *shifty eyes, nervous laughter* OK, I admit I did, but actually I took most of their mannerisms from experience with horny barn cats. It was fascinating to find out how much lion behavior is similar to domestic cats. The funniest fact I found was that lionesses prefer males with the darkest manes because they are more virile. That would make LionBill quite the catch, if anyone was interested in him like that. ~__^ I'm so flattered you added me as a favorite. OMG I love this!! Bill is such a beautiful prissy lion. I giggled so much at the imagery of him preening into the water and then *splash* when one of the lionesses pushed him in. His comment about them taking on a alpha and winning and him not counting was brilliant. Cannot wait for the next chapter to see how Bill shows his alpha status *smooshes*
