That's too bad about the book. There's nothing wrong about it! Raising a baby is sweet and natural regardless of who the parents are.

I am so embarrassed that I wrote lions humping, but it was part of the original prompt and I couldn't get the visual out of my head of poor little LionBill going to town on top a bored or oblivious TomCat. It didn't quite work out that way, but... I agree with you that letting Bill hump me all day, every day would be my idea of nirvana. It would solve most of life's problems and contribute to peace in my world! ^__^ And after this story, I don't think I'll ever get a job writing kids' books. The humping lions will haunt me forever! The penguin book has stuck with me ever since I read about the "controversy" a few years ago. With all the things parents should be worried about their kids seeing or hearing, I cannot believe that book would be the most objected to. In that case, I believe the penguins are truly better parents than the humans who act so narrow-minded. Enough of my ranting -- I want to thank you again for reading and reviewing. Take care!

This was a wonderful ending! I really loved it. Great work on the whole fic. Thoughnow that I read your Authors note I don't think I will ever be able to go to my local zoo again. At least not without thinking about gay lions. My local zoo has two males and no females... just beggin for gay lions weren't they?

I knew about the penguins, but I was surprised to read about all the different animals that display homosexual traits. It was really interesting. This story was absolutely brilliant and I loved this final chapter! I'm so happy for Bill and the lionesses too! Excellent idea to finish this with an outside point of view.
