I was so happy to see this updated. I adore your writing style on so many levels. Your vocabulary is extensive without being confusingly pretentious, your pacing is great. I really don't understand why there aren't more people reviewing (aside from the fact that the site's kinda dead today in that respect). I can't say this 100%, simply because I haven't seen enough from you, but from what I've read so far, I'd say you're one of the best writers on here.
And I've decided that I totally think Tom has an erect-o-meter in real life. Yes, I do. He so would.

I appreciate your distinct writing style. It's wry, self depricating and roils with alacrity as it tumbles over emotions with surprise and very little grace. It's what people experience in real life; life is rarely smooth, but jagged edges we keep running into regardless of our knowledge that they're there.
And I definitely know a thing or two about a chapter that refuses to end, but it was well written and paced beautifully and moved the story along.
