Tom is all alone with a huge responsibility, and Georg...things are going awkward so fast. They are the best friends, and friens are always there, but still...

Author's Response: Oh no, he's just gone to Milan to do some work, not forever. Poor Tom's got to do this on his own. Georg only wants Tom because Tom is his best friend and the one most likely to understand why his injury is so bad. And...because. ;)

Poor Georg, that's terrible, his wrists/hands are his livelihood. I can understand that Tom would feel that crushing blow more than his parents would who'd be just happy to hear that he was alive and going to be alright.

omg... that's terrible news. Poor Georg and such huge personal and financial consequences for the band when he's out for that long.
Of course, I'm intrigued why Tom belongs with the family... I'm sure you'll elaborate ;)

Tom is just there as his friend. I should have researched to see if it's different in Germany, but in the U.S., friends can wait with family in a private waiting room, if the family allows it. :)

Oh man, it's already a devastating set-up! Poor Georg. ;_; I was really feeling for all of them with this tension. And of course, Tom instantly understands what this means to a guitarist.
