Ehehehe. I must also say that I thought they were going to kill him. That's how I end most of my stories (with suicide, murder, or double-suicide) so I subconsciously expect all stories to end on a depressing note, especially if they're as well-written and terrifyingly sensual like this, but I have to say I'm glad that he became a merman, and I enjoyed the lighter ending to the story. Both ways would have been realistic, so it doesn't really matter which one you went with. :3
It really is like watching a movie instead of reading a story when you write, hon. It's absolutely gorgeous. One thing I really love about your writing is that you pretty much never use the same words twice to describe something. It's always something different. And it's always beautiful.~
I also really, really loved how possessive Tom was over Bill, especially when Andrej gave the ring to Bill and the way Tom was thinking so deeply about it, like really looking into it. And poor Bill was just like "what the fuck, dude". :c
