Oh, Bill, with his little innuendos and psychoanalyzing total strangers and stealing random hats -- he's adorable! It's so funny how he has very little brain-to-mouth filter so whatever pops into his neurotic little brain pops right out of his mouth. And I hope Tom feels better soon. Food poisoning is never fun. (I stay away from snack bars, too, and KFC.)
Author's Response: That boy really doesn't have a filter haha. And even when he does try to filter..it just pops out in the end, anyway! And yes, food poisoning sucks so bad. Once, my rather senile grandmother, accidentally fed me something that was apparently full of expired products and I ended up having to be in the hospital for three days. I don't eat things she cooks anymore. And yes snack bars are shady, what with their heat lamps warming the food and the sketchy characters who work there. And OMG hahaha I haaate KFC but for some reason my mom loooooves it and always suggests we get it when we all get together as a family. But I avoid that place like that plague. I adore sexual innuendos! Sometimes I try to make EVERYTHING into something sexual, it's so much fun. Bills story with the waiter and the meatballs was great! I think Bill's little stories are my favorite parts in each chapter. "Because this one time..." and you tell some crazy story about an incident in Bill's past. XD
Nurse Bill is going to be great! I can already imagine him flinging open the door, plowing right on in with weird, nonsensical remedies that end up working. Stuff he learned from reading about animals. "When an elephant has a stuffed nose, it holds its trunk upside down and gargles mud. Then it blows its nose and it clears right up. Try it, Tom!"
Author's Response: :D I have a theory that if you say anything, well mostly anything, with the right inflection in your voice, it can be made dirty. And so...I do that as often as possible! I'm really glad that you like the little stories because those are actually kind of my favorite to write. Mostly because I have no clue what they are going to end up as when I start typing them and so I just go with the flow lol. Bill has much experience when it comes to awkward situations xD And ohhhhhhhh mg that last part of your review made me laugh so hard. I could picture it perfectly hahah. I'm so glad it was a sword in that bag because I was convinced it was that creepy little messenger monkey all set to jump out at Bill or climb back in Tom's hair. I was traumatized just imagining it. Of course, the reference to Stanley and the seeing-eye monkey was hilarious, as usual!

There have been so many times that I've wanted to teach them the proper way to make pervy jokes...but I'm pretty sure their parents would not be appreciative lol. And I'm with you on the tuna thing. Bill's summer vacation is filled with so much goodness, I really think he deserves Tom. The guy is such a beautiful thing to happen to Bill and I wish for them to have many years of awesome togetherness.
Also, Tom is so easily dazzled by Bill and that is such a joy to read. Bill truly makes his life incredible, too. He can hardly wait to see him every time and it makes me smile :D
