The idea of keeping a pet spider for silk almost *almost* gets me to not hate spiders. Bill is so sweet here, out of his element and nervously experiencing so many things for the first time. (And I would love to see Tom with this hair.) Thistle is such a typical little boy, wanting to poke at something unusual before anyone else! I love possessive Tom -- tricky, devious night fairy not quite telling Bill the entire truth. I love the reveal and the way you carried through the theme of the promise and kissing from the first story. So cute!

Wow that was a little overwhelming for poor Bill but at least they all accepted him. I love Thistle trying to make Bill chirp again, he takes after his big brother being a cheeky/tricksy day fairy.
Maybe there's a little room with a window and moss growing on the branch for them to share permanently in the family tree. Bill can move his spiders and glow worms in.

This was good story too. But why do I get the feeling Tom was checking for pregnancy?... and why would he be if they hadn't had sexy times ywt...unless you are cheating us and leaving them out. *shakes finger* shame on you if you are.

Author's Response: Standard greeting licks tend to not be very slick, so it's not too bad. It the affectionate licks (or the unpracticed, slobbery licks) that one needs to concern themselves with.

Aww! Tom had been wooing! Eep! That was so cute! And boooiiiiii! Andreas best back off if he don't want a Tom chasing after him! Haha I love a jealous Tom and little innocent Bill who doesn't know any better :3 And leave it to Tom to mislead someone into thinking all that licking in the first story was just a greeting ;) Well I was on to you mister!
