OMG ! So happy to see a new fic from you! And I love the plot already!!! Poor Bill, I really feel for him, he's really adorable and I think his character is very interesting!
I wonder if maybe the dragon he's always drawing is the one that he has before Gordon found him... that would explain why he doesn't have a dragon at his age, cause he already has one! Plus it would be adorable if his dragon spent all this time trying to find Bill and now their finally reunited! Anyways! I can't wait to read the next chapter! =D

aahhhhh *flail flail flail* This has an amazing start to it! I'm really glad I decided to read it except now I'm really wanting to read more.... *subtly scoots computer to you*... no, I'm not putting your hands on the keyboard, no not at all.. erm... i'm just.... trying to hold your hands to keep them warm? *cough* okay I'm caught. This is just really good. Bill needs his dragon to show those idiot classmates of his that he is NOT a dragonless wonder :D

I really love Bill's character, maybe because I can relate to him so much. A little hapless, unable to fit in and unable to do anything about that. I know it sounds silly but that's kind of how I feel, as a queer person. I can also relate to the having terrible luck thing. Unfortunately I am not as witty or entertaining as Bill and his occasional remarks to himself.

This story is just... Why can't I explain in words how much I love this?? I felt so sorry for poor Bill and the entire build-up to the story, not to mention the setting.
You just brought the entire village to life, it's apparent that you see it, but you were also able to make me see it, build it up for me so I could walk around in it as well. And the introducing characters. That was just epic. You brought all these characters to life, all the dragons, the people introduced. I feel as if I'm reading Harry Potter, and I thought nothing could make me feel that way again!
I have seen: How To Tame Your Dragon, so I notice where that inspiration comes from, but I still don't feel as if it stands out too strongly. I don't know if you've based more on that "Affairs Of Dragons" thing that I have no knowledge of, but I do get the impression that I read something unique and individual. And I loved reading every letter of the chapter. I hope you have fun with the story, and that I will be near a computer when the day comes that you publish chapter number 2.
And if you get reviews with lots of nagging about: More now! Or hurry! Then ignore it. Have fun with your story, enjoy the process, it's much more important than to get pessimistic because others won't leave you alone. I don't know if it will cheer you up, but it doesn't matter to me that you take your time with writing, you won't lose me as a reader anyway.

I feel so bad that Bill doesn't have a dragon of his own, and it really sucks because the way you describe super-best-friend-fly-you-around-dragons makes me want one too, and I'm not even a viking. xD
