Oh no :( Their child died? I'm so sorry :( It's understandable that their marriage is suffering from that.
This makes Lila's character only more interesting, I think, and I'm wondering how Tom would react, if he knew about it. He'd probably be pretty shocked and wouldn't know what to do and I'm kind of looking forward to seeing him in that situation^^
Of course I don't want to see her suffering from marriage problems, but I really want her to get together with Tom! Could you do it so that she won't be hurt too much?^^
Either way, I can't wait for the next chapters :D

I really loved this chapter it was kind of amusing. Awe poor Lila losing her baby that must be extremely hard. I can't wait to find out what will happen next. I love how Tom and Lila (it feels weird to call a professor by her first name^^) are interacting, I'm really looking forward to see how that'll develop!
Is this really your first story with Georg? I don't remember him being in any of your other stories, at least not in a big role. You may hit me if I'm wrong^^ But I have to say, you did a good job with introducing him.
