Woah, I'm not used to Georg as an antagonist either, even though my friend wrote a full fic with that.
And gah!! Motherfracker! Bill, if you don't have a phone, and you're getting attacked, that's when you run to the nearest house and ask to use their phone, because you're getting attacked. I learned that when I was a kid!
't' missing here: "Though you'd want the company"
And there should be a comma between "You know" and "diner boy". But eh, *waves hand* trifles.
And I'm not much better than a greenhorn when it comes to subtle writing styles, but I do like it. I think I like your other style better, though.
Author's Response: Yea, I'm playing around with the pairings over my next few stories (yet to come out), and antagonist Georg isn't very common, and something about him struck me. I accidently left out a sentence somewhere saying that the row home lights were all out (its a small suburban town), and actually a kind of 50s setting in my imagination, except the cell phone existence kind of shatters my illusion... Oh well, Bill will just have to deal! That sentence might end up back in the next chapter... :D
