I feel like Bill tried to met Tom again in order to do something/reach someone else for a revenge, I don't know, it feels like Tom is just a pawn here. Or at least, starts as a pawn in Bill's big scheme but hopefully will become more than that.
Author's Response: Well I can tell you that Bill is not planning any sort of revenge on Tom. All is forgiven. Tom wasn't exactly a bully to Bill, just a sucky friend. It's so good to hear that readers are liking the characters, so thanks for that. rnrnIt's interesting to me that you get the impreession that Tom's a pawn in some larger scheme. I find this story so incredibly intriguing! The characters are very real and fleshed out, and I find it very easy to get involved in their lives. I just adore the whole plot and I can't wait for their date!

And please don't take this the wrong way, but for some reason it feels like this is going to be a short story.. Hmm
Also, at the end there's a confusing bit: Tom brought hands forward grab at his waist. I'd suggust having it be "his hands" and "to grab" ;)
Author's Response: I know why you are feeling that way: because I'm writing short chapters, in which things progress quickly. Each chapter has a point (no useless chapters this fic!). I'm planning for it to be eleven chapters. And thanks for pointing that last out, because it was supposed to be "to" grab.

Author's Response: Glad you liked how I wrote Tom in the intro chapter. I've never written exclusively from his point of view with the limited third person, but I feel close to him in this fic, instead of Bill for a change. But no worries, you will learn more about Bill, he's just an egnima for awhile. You'd be right in assuming he's troubled. Thanks!
