I realized that I've never review first chapters of CC so I am doing it now from very personal reasons /I WANT NEW CHAPTER/ :-D
This chapter was short compared to your later updates but it is the beginning and this is how is should be. I remembered once again why I love your writing so much because even nothing big had happened in this chapter - it was only about Tom and his first day at new school - there is everything. I love when authors can work with short sentences, with one-sentence-paragraphs.... with words. And you are a master.
So it should be not a surprise when I say you hooked me with the end of the first chapter. It was love on first read :)
