And damn, Bill was not playing around! Granted, he never really does, but still! That was harsh. I'm wondering what happened that caused him to loathe alcohol and drunks so much.
But, I'm proud of Tom for finally speaking his mind. It may have hurt Bill, but I feel like he needed to hear it; Tom had been doing nothing but try and be nice to Bill, and in return, Bill was really cold towards him. I feel like he needed to hear Tom's thoughts on that matter.
