I know already that there will be a longer sequel to this but I'm not sure when I'll get around to it. I know that I'm over my head in other projects and want to wait till some are cleared away so I could actually focus on just that story. Keep an eye out for it though ;)

This wassuch a sad, but beautiful story. There aren't many fics of this genre and this was at tyhe top of it, definitely. The whole atmosphere, emptiness and melancholy, even slight bitterness fit perfectly and the sadness was almost touchable. Very, very beautiful work...
And still there is a little beam of light in the end. I liked it. It would have been heartbreaking without.

if you continue this story with a new pregnancy, that would make it bittersweet which isn't corny nor dramatic, those are my favorite m-pregs, or in case u're planning a whole new story, make it a non-related highschool one, those are sexy and kinky and so fun to read...
Author's Response: oh trust me, the gears are turning for a continuation of this. i had that it'll be another WIP because I have so many of those already but it's a project (like the rest) that I really want to try out. hopefully you'll stick around to see what it's all about :)

This is a little bit hard for me to comment, it was realy well written and I liked it. But a bit hard to read, seven years and five days (yeah, I'm still counting) I lost my youngest child at birth, it was an accident and she just lived for 25 minutes, I never got the chance to see her alive, never got the chance to tell her I love her, in some way is it that who hurts the most.Well, that doesn't have anything to do with your story, their are a lot of things I would like to comment, but I just can't right now. Maybe another day, thanks for a great story!

That was the line which got me. It was strange; before that it was definitely sad to read, but I was no where near crying. When I read that though, I was gone. I'm not sure why, maybe it was because I've seen the strongest person in my life go to pieces too so I can relate to it. Yeah, I'm going to blame it on that and not on the fact that I'm a complete sap when it comes to sad Tom/Bill stories. ;)
This was just perfect though. The emotion was captured wonderfully and you handled what is a very sensitive topic just right. I'm definitely favouriting this. :)

Sigh... This was so well written but extremely sad. It broke my heart. I was on the verge of tears myself but my throat is all closed and scratchy like it gets when you want to cry but don't. I think this is by far the best story about miscarriage that I've read on this site. Beautifully done.
