Thank you!! ^_^ And slash is a term used to mean any homosexual relationship, although lesbian relationships have a kinda seperate category called 'femmeslash'. So basically 'slash' is any gay relationship depicted in fiction. I'm not sure where it originated from, but it's basically the slash (/) used when naming the pairing, for example: Tom / Bill. Although the slash (/) is also used to depict non-homosexual relationships (for example: Tom / Jessica Alba), it's exclusively used for homosexual pairings. Hope that helped!
