Karma's a bitch & so is Bill =) I love how it turned out that Bill was the one who was never good enough for Tom. Even from the beginning, in my opinion. Love this!
Author's Response: You're right, Bill was never good enough for Tom and karma is most certainly a bitch. I'm glad you liked it; thanks for reviewing. :)

This. This deserved far more than 8 reviews. It certainly deserves more than the 9th review this will be.
The ending was that wonderful balance of cringing humilation, bitter regret and was just SO painful it's beautiful; and there weren't enough people who got this.
Btw, I had S8er Boi playing on YouTube while reading and ended tuning it out, though! :P
Author's Response: Awhh thank you, it means a lot that you felt that way. :3
Regret was definitely something I wanted to put across - the phrase "Karma's a bitch" springs to mind for Bill and of course, humiliation went along side that. I'm really glad that you understood that. :)
Haha, I don't think I listened to it once while writing it. :P I had the lyrics open in and different tab, but I know the song so well I don't think I even looked at them. xD

Good for Tom XD Great fic!
Author's Response: Agreed! I toiled with them getting back together, but I decided I wanted Tom to stand on his own two feet! :D Thank you :))

Oh, I...oh...
I hate the ending. I LOVE the ending. I've been made somewhat bipolar by this. I hate that Avril Lavigne song, but this story...this story went lifetimes deep in less than 3000 words. This is amazing to me. It's what Steve King calls "the perfect story"; short enough to lure them in, and deep enough to keep them there. This was a casual study in artistic writing and it saddens me how few of its readers are going to understand the art they're seeing. They'd appreciate it so much more if they could. I guess first though, we'd have to get people to understand that writing is an "art", and no...not everybody can do it.
I would like to submit this for a feature and I have never done that before. I guess I should figure out how. This is probably also the most prolific praise I have ever given on this site. I'm growing uncomfortable with my own sap. So I will leave it at this:
This was good on a level that most NY Times Best Sellers don't achieve. I both see and appreciate the talent you have; on a professional level. You kick much ass, and may the words always come easy! :P
Favourite - Favourite - Favourite
Author's Response: You never fail to amaze me.
Honestly, your reviews bring a smile to my face which just doesn’y want to leave. I'm shocked that you seem to regard this as highly as you do. I really don't know what to say, except thank you. Thank you so much, it really does mean a lot.
Oh woah. Thank you, both for wanting to submit this for a feature and for comparing it to NY Times Best Sellers.
Just one more thank you; THANK YOU! :D

/sighs
I don't know, but somehow, I can relate to this story.
Avril Lavigne used to be my most favorite singer. I've memorized the lyrics of all her songs before. LOL.
But hey, the story is nice. But broken!Tom/Bill makes me cry. ;___;
Author's Response: She used to be my favourite singer too ^.^ I still know quite a few of the lyrics to be honest -cringe-
Thank you! :) Awhh, I'm sorry :(

Oh, I've always loved this song. haha, well.. Bill, you can't expect Tom to just take you back after all these years, and after you turned him down. That's true.. Though, I was hoping Tom would take him back. I wouldn't mind some Tom and Bill sex. :D but it was great, even without that. :D It was a great idea :D
Author's Response: Same! :D Ah, I know, poor Bill - he's still a spoilt rich kid at heart, even if his daddy's money has all gone. ;) I really was toting with the idea of stage-sex, but I decided to keep it more realistic. Well, as realistic as it could be. :D Thank you! I'm glad you liked it xD

You have no idea how much I love Avril Lavigne. I listened to one of her albums yesterday for the first time in eight years and I knew every word. I ADORED her in elementary school.
Author's Response: Awh same, she used to be my all time favourite singer. I remember stealing her album "Let Go" off my brother :') - I still know all the words to that album :) thanks for your review! :D
