There needs to be more character development here. You have a good framework for your story, but it feels like that's what we're reading; the outline you wrote to help yourself along. You need to flesh it out more to make your characters more relatable.

Thanks for the update. Abusive father - an insight into why Bill acts the way he does. Gordon makes a good baddie, if you know what I mean. Nice to see Bill scared, though, after the fear he makes others feel. Also he's not so tough after all and although he likes to think he controls Andi, he's afraid of Andi leaving him. Great chapter.
