wow i didnt quite understand a whole lot of it but im guessing Bill was hallucinating tom as his lover and was obsessed with him? :) it was really good :)
Author's Response: Yes Bill had always admired Tom from afar but when his obsessive love for Tom became too much, Bill started living in this fantasy world where he actually believed that he was in a relationship with Tom. He would tell the people around him in so much detail of his fantasy, that other people believed that he was telling the truth thus furthering Bill's fragile state.
But when Bill saw Tom with his real wife and then real daughter, rage consumed him as he thought in his sick little head that Tom was cheating on him. He killed Tom's wife and daughter and then stole their clothes.
Then he dressed up in the dead women's clothes and went to Tom's door thinking that he was now the ideal person Tom would want to be with. Tom obviously did not know who Bill was and so Bill killed him as his fantasy was shattered

OMG!!!! That was amazing! I love that this story had me going for a while about how Tom was being a jerk to Bill but dang I didn't see that coming. Great job really amazing

Ohmy, I enjoyed this :)
It's so twisted and fun, and absolutely awesome, in my opinion.
I kind if figured it was either Tom or Bill killing the girls.
Also, that song is pretty good, not gonna lie. So yes, this was awesome. :D (sorry, I have fail commenting skills.)
Author's Response: The song kicks ass! The first time I heard it, I didn't know that it was supposed to be dark so I just kept humming along with the tune. Then at the end when Luka (the tailor shop girl with the pink hair) is standing over Kaito's body (blue haired man Luka was obsessed with) I was like "WAIT WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?!?!"

(reply) Oh, okay. Nevermind, I read it wrong. When I said little girl I meant the REALLY little girl, the four-year-old that Bill encountered. But she was unrelated.
Also, I strongly suggest changing "the father to a family of three" to "the father in* a family of three". Heh, otherwise it gives the impression that besides Tom, there were three members. Which is why I thought the child was Tom's youngest daughter. Again, sorry, didn't read that as carefully.

That was really interesting! I'm just confused about one thing... if Bill didn't know Tom, then was the whole rape scene a delusion? I feel like that's a dumb question, but oh well! =)
Author's Response: It's not a dumb question...but yeah Bill imagined that all. If you notice he broke out of his trance and was all alone. O at times when he saw Tom so little in the apartment, that it felt like Bill was all alone in it

Ok, I just have to review again to say that there were quite a few hints about the true world and not Bill's fantasy, but it was still unexpected to say the least. (And + points for mentioning Jack the Ripper! I'm fascinated with serial killers). And I just have to say that I'm feeling more and more terrible for Bill. He'd created a whole fantasy world, and the crazy thing is that he functions normally and not all his life is a fantasy. He has his tailor shop and gets by nicely and then he just lapses into his fantasy world just like that, like they overlap and that is just so much more haunting that him creating everything up, cus then he won't seem normal and would be labelled as a crazy guy.... Bill! *hugs* I wonder what'll happen to him now? (And him turning up at Tom's house wearing that dress and the hairpin is just... incredible.) So, now he's killed Tom... will he realise the truth, or will he still continue to believe that Tom was his lover...? But wait... towards the end of the story, Bill's walking away from the 'pub' and mad that Tom treated him like a stranger, so I guess he still doesn't get it, huh? So next morning he's gonna hear about Tom's death and think he was killed by some murderer.... But then Hannah would know the truth, right? She knows about Tom, and she felt uneasy about Bill that morning, so she would realise what happened... I love you. Marry me.

.............................................................................. I'm speachless........... I really don't know what to say. This..... this is a masterpiece. A work of genius. It was totally unexpected and oh man I don't even know what to say! (ok, now I feel bad for hating on Tom in my previous comment...) POOR TOM! Bad Billi. But I guess poor Bill too. This is so haunting! Oh God, I feel so terrible for both of them. Tom, that poor unaware soul. And Bill, tortured and living in a fantasy. I just.... I cannot find the words to express how amazing this story is. I don't know how to put into words all that I feel should be said about this. So I'm sorry for that. You need a wonderful review analysing all the aspects of this story and although I did literature for my O/L S and A/Ls I'm stil unable to form a coherent appraisal of this story as I'm just stunned right now. This story is just fantastic, honestly. Thank you for this spectacular story. *worships* (And yes, Bill makes a very good psycho methinks... in a way different to how Tom does...)
Author's Response: Your review made me all fuzzy inside! <3
Thank you so much for thinking that about my story! I don't know if you've read my other fics but Psycho!Tom is often a character that I like to use so it was very different for me when writing Psycho!Bill. I really tried to capture how trapped Bill was in his world with a bias narrator so that the readers would not realize all of this was fake until the end

D: Tom you bastard! I feel so so bad for Bill. Not only is his lover of 3 years cheating on him, but he's doing it with multiple women! Curse you, Tom! *shakes fist* Anyway, I have to say I love period pieces so much! They're so much fun to read! And what's up with those scissors? They give me a creepy feeling... *shudders* Reminds me a little of Edward Scissor Hands and Sweeney Todd... :X (And you know what? I read this fic last night - or early today morning is more accurate - and I had a dream about it! In my dream, I was there and also some other girl, and I think we were supposed to be the Kaiserin's maids or something. And the Kaiserin was there as well, and she brought the dress that Bill made for her and I dunno some other crap happened and then she locked me and the other girl in the bathroom... :S). Anyway, looking forward to the next chapter!

Author's Response: Thank you! :) you always review on my fics *hugs* means the world

Wow. Is all i can say. Loved it
Author's Response: Thank you! I normally cast Tom in the role of the crazy one but Bill just suited this so well. I especially liked the rape scene that Bill totally imagined but by then he was already starting to lose his mind. Poor Tom had quite a scare when Bill arrived on his doorstep wearing his wife's dress and daughter's hairpin.

Hehe, this was delightfully disturbing.
Ah, so only the little girl was left alive? That's sad :( Would've been sad if she was killed, too, but now she's an orphan.
Author's Response: No Bill killed her as well. In the song a family of four was killed but I changed to three in this one. The woman in the red dress was the mother, the girl with the hairpin was a daughter (She was practically a child!...paternalistic manner), and Tom was the father of the family. They were all killed

I'm officially intrigued! Everything is so dramatic and emotional, I'm really so interested in your characters! Can't wait for more!
Author's Response: Thank you! I was a bit worried that people would be bored by Bill's job but it really adds to the story. I just posted the next chapter so it should be up in a few hours
