Awwww, I feel sad for Tom! But poor Bill as well. What he did with Dani belonged to Bill. :( I think that's the most heartbreaking part of this whole story. I think you managed to capture weak-Tom and strong-Bill realistically. Great fic, you write really really well, very vivid. I could feel Tom's pain so clearly, and you kept me glued to the story until the end. I just wish there was a third chapter where Tom and Bill get together so that the story comes full circle. I suppose it's more heartbreaking without. Very well done!! :)
